I am planning on getting a full bag fitting sometime this fall. I hear good things about both places. Club Champion seems to have a larger selection and better technology but I heard if you buy from them the price for clubs is a significantly higher. Anyone out there that can offer an opinion? Thanks.

I am trying to fix my OTT swing but a normal swing thought is not working so far. Maybe I can work backwards. What physically happens when one swings over the top? For example the shoulders rotate first, the club gets away from the body and so on. What else is physically going on? if I can concentrate on fixing those things, maybe that can help. Thanks.

I have been playing a new course recently and I am having major problems getting out of bunkers. My problem is I am either picking the ball clean and going over the green or I am blading it and usually going over the green anyway. If I get lucky it will hit the lip and roll onto the green. The sand is much softer on this course than I am used to so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I am just looking for a swing thought to catch the sand first. Thanks.

Open hips to fight over the top?

There are definitely other factors, I just don't know how to fix them. I spin out with my shoulders to start my downswing and I am looking for any ways that I can get myself to swing in sequence. Any other swing thoughts are appreciated. Thanks -
I am having major trouble fixing my OTT swing. If I consciously think about opening my hips more on my backswing, will that help by giving me more room to drop the club? I can't find a swing thought to get the downswing started properly so I am looking for any ways to help. Thanks.

I have always fought a slice with my driver. With my irons I am able to limit my OTT swing and am getting more consistent with them. However, I can't figure out how to translate that swing to my driver. Recently, I have just been setting up on the right side of the tee box in a closed stance, aiming my shoulders well to the right. I then swing what feels "normal" to me. This doesn't always work, as I will still fade it a bit or hook it as well. But it seems to be a little more consistent as far as finding the fairway. I know this is not ideal, but I don't know how to fix it. Any tips on tweaking this setup or anything else that you guys feel might be worth a try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,.

I am trying to learn to "dial in" my wedges from inside 100 yards. Recently I have been trying to get my distances down with a half swing PW, SW, GW and LW. I am trying to get my hands to 9:00 and make a normal swing. My one problem has been catching the ball fat. When I am chipping I consciously keep my weight on my front foot in order to not hit behind the ball. Should I try doing that? Any other tips/ideas for getting more accurate with these half swings? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to trying it out this weekend.

After watching a video by "Trackman Maestro" on the effect of club path and a slice, I have a question. I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with him or his videos, but he says that in order to swing inside out, you should keep your weight on your front leg and leave it there during the swing. Also, he states that if you put your hands in front of the club face at set- up, it will encourage an inside out path. One, does keeping your weight on your front leg lose distance on the shot since there is no weight shift? And second, should I try to have my hands ahead of the club face even with a driver? Thanks for any help.

I am having a hard time with not coming over the top with my driver. I see many people tilting their shoulders so that the left is higher than the right (for RH), but I never have felt too comfortable doing that. However, should I look into practicing my swing using that setup? I assume if it works that I will get comfortable with that position soon enough. I am just wondering if that (or anything you guys can think of) helps the club drop into the slot a little more. Thanks.

I went from a deep face 3 wood to a shallow face one in an effort to hit it from the fairway. I am still having trouble catching it clean. My hits are either fat or thin. I am not sure of where to line the ball up, and that plus the fact that I worry about making clean contact without the ball on a tee makes this the hardest shot for me. Any tips at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

My Burner Iron set came with a pitching wedge and a gap wedge. I also have a Vokey 60 degree lob wedge. I have in my bag the sand wedge from my old set. I am curious if you guys have any input as to whether I need a sand wedge or not. I have been using my lob wedge mostly around the green and also in bunkers. Any input? Thanks.

I hit more often on the heel versus the toe. I do fight an over the top swing, which I am constantly trying to fix. However, even when I come on a better path, I still can't seem to close the club face enough to get it back to square.

I know this is something that most people have a strong opinion on but I am a little conflicted. I fight a slice with my woods and a fade with my irons. I also have a bowed left wrist at the top of my backswing. I heard that a flat left wrist may help me stop slicing. Any ideas? Thanks

It's definitely not a push slice. It is either a pull slice or it starts straight and then slices. I can't figure out the correct way to swing from the inside. I am almost always starting by coming over the top with ny driver and 3 wood.

I'm pretty sure you are right. I come in pretty steep with an over the top swing with my driver. It could be as much as 20-30 yards. I can get my shorter clubs to come in on the correct path (from the inside), but I can't seem to do it with my longer clubs. I just don't know how to get myself to start y driver swing properly

I can hit it relatively straight with my irons but when it comes to my woods and driver I still fight a major slice or pull slice. I try to set up to hit a draw but it doesn't seem to work for me. Any tips for getting the longer clubs in the slot to get on the correct swing path? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi guys. I am relatively new to the game but have one major issue. I pull a lot of my shots to the left. No hook, just straight left. With my driver, however, its more of a pull slice usually.I have taken a few lessons but the drills I have been shown don't seem to help. The pro said I was kind of standing up with my right hip as I started my downswing which threw everything off. I am looking more for a swing thought to take with me to the course. Thanks in advance for any help.
