  1. hi, yeah i recently putting a 5 wood in the bag. been struggling recently wth my driver, and if swinging badly then I've got no right trying to hit my 3 wood. recently got a cheapie 5 wood, last years Benross vx proto, with aldila dvs stiff shaft. I tend to hit te ball too low, so the 19 degree of loft really helps. measured it wiht sky caddie last week with skycaddie and going 235-245 and straight. if driver woring then it goes about 275-285 ( tour edge exotics xcg-3 ). the matching3wood is a great club, but for confidence the 5 wood is a belter. would much rather than 240 up the middle, than 250 with the 3 wood in the trees
  2. Hi does anyone else use these. I got an XCG3 last year, 10.5 with the Motore stff shaft. I play off 11 with 105-110mph swing and hit it between 270-290, but struggle a b it with consistency and hitting the ball too low. I've just put a second hand K15 in the bag ( 12 degree with stock tfc stff shaft ). Think it'll be shorter than the TE, and probably throw out the odd snap hook. Just been at the range though and a much better launch angle and all the shots are straight or a bit of a draw ( which I just need to learn to control )...I can see me missing the distance of the TE though, and was wondering if anyone has tried the XCG-4 or the XLD? XCG3 a beautiful club but do't think a lot in forgiveness (or more importantly not that forgving for an inconsistent swing ) thanks ps very hard to get them in the uk. if TE sorted out their price point then they could be a huge hit
