  1. Joel, If you don't know of a clubshop in your area, you might look up Wes Allred. He may be affiliated with the Gypsy Hill Golf Club.
  2. I guess you are saying the Nickent goes as far or farther than your Octane Tour with the XS shaft, which, to me, is saying something. If the Pershing is too whippy, you can have it pulled from the hosel and tipped. I have read one instance where a golfer with a 98 mph swing speed was advised by Diamond Tour to tip the Pershing stiff shaft one inch. This is the most inexpensive approach. If it doesn't work, you can go back to the clubshop and seek their advise as to which shaft to buy.
  3. I got them on Ebay. The price had been reduced from about $25 to a little less than $15.
  4. I have a couple of the cyg hosels coming. I have Limey 440 regular I might use, and I might buy an Xcaliber SL shaft (they are on sale at Golfworks until 7/31).
  5. Funny, I ordered the same combination. I ordered the stiff Pershing. It was supposed to come with a cyg hosel and wrench. I called them on the wrench, and just received it yesterday. Unfortunately, while undoing the head with the wrench, I noticed that the hosel is not a cyg hosel (with the various adjustments). So, like me, you probably will not be able to make any of the 26 adjustments the cyg hosel brings to the table. But, I have a couple of cyg hosels on order from Ebay.
  6. I have an Evolver coming from Rock Bottom Golf. It has the Cyg hosel. I have read elsewhere that you would need to tip the shaft you plan to use by 1/2" (about one flex) due to the configuration of the hosel. I was planning to use a shaft that doesn't get tipped. Is this correct? Is the other (plastic) hosel the same, as far as the tipping? If I decide to go with the tipping, I guess I would need to go with an A flex before the tipping to get the installed shaft to regular. Thanks for you expertise. HighSide
