  2. Seem to be breaking my wrists too early and I'm looking for a good drill to help fix this. Anyone have any good ones they'd like to share?
  3. I play twilight in San Diego,CA and have gotten caught on 16 with no more sun when starting at 3. 1:30 is always a safe bet and typically the twilight rates will be around that time starting in September.
  4. Here is an article from a few years ago that might give you some ideas for the indoor putting green as well as ways to add contour to it: http://thesandtrap.com/b/training/build_your_own_8_x_8_indoor_putting_green_cheaply
  5. Awesome! This is really helpful. Thanks!
  6. I'm familiar with the idea of getting lag on the club to produce the highest club head speed, but I'm not familiar with the term "lag pressure". I've seen this used in a number of threads now and I'm curious to know exactly what it was. Can someone please explain?
  7. I too am a fairly new golfer, taking lessons since about April. My lessons are outside but they are typically on the range, practice green or short game area. I've been told the most important thing to learn when you start out is the basic mechanics of every part of the game. So whether its indoors, or outside, its really whatever you're most comfortable with. When you get comfortable with the basic mechanics and your swing, then would be the time you want to start looking at playing lessons with a pro out on the course. Do you live in an area of the country that has inclement weather in the winters? One benefit of indoor lessons would be continuing them year round. Hope this helps and keep with it!
  8. Thanks for the heads up Doc. I'm looking for TRX specific workouts b/c I just got one of these things and want to utilize it. Going to keep looking around. I'll be sure to check out www.GolfConditioningNow.com as well.
  9. I know they sell a golf TRX dvd but I've read nothing but bad reviews for it. If anyone has one they do or has a link to a good program, please let me know. Thanks, Patrick
  10. Hello SandTrap forum. My name is Patrick and I recently took up golf and have become instantly hooked. I've come to SandTrap.com a bunch of times to try and find advice on swing tips and drills to further progress my game, so I thought I'd introduce myself and start getting more involved in the discussions. Happy golfing. -Patrick
