I'm not sure if we added the round coloring info to the documentation or not. The green rounds are the ones used when calculating your handicap. Black rounds are active rounds that were not used in for your handicap and grey rounds are inactive rounds.

Hi Keith, Could you please send Scorecard's log file to support@cynicalpeak.com ? You can find it by opening an explorer window, then entering %AppData%\Cynical Peak\Scorecard into the address field. This location also stores your database. The Scorecard (Scorecard.scorecard) file. You can back it up to be safe when you do the reinstall. It contains all of your course and round data. I'd also recommend adding it to your backup rotation if you don't want to risk losing your data. Thanks, Brad

ESC is automatically applied to you scores when calculating your handicap. You don't have to do anything to account for it. ESC is not applied though when calculating your other stats. So if you take 20 stokes on a hole, that'll show up in the stats window. We decided to not apply it so that you get an accurate picture of how you actually performed on the course since it is for personal use.

Just a note on Scorecard and ESC. When entering your rounds, enter the score you actually shot. ESC will be automatically applies to the scores when calculating your handicap. You don't have to do it manually. The entered score is then used in the other stats to show you what you actually shot.
