  1. is it the dot or the line? dot like the circa or line like the newports?
  2. thanks i went to the store today and i hit the newport 2 and the newport style whats the difference between them? i didnt see a difference
  3. my friend has the limited edition 1997 prototype and it has a thicker wall...but i t doesnt have the allignment dot or line so yeah... any suggestions?
  4. yeah i HATE mallet putters cant stand them i was thinking about the newport 3.5 or watever
  5. what was our favorite scotty cameron putter... i need a putter with a thicker wall because the scotty cameron that i have now has the insert so its harder for me to feel the shorter 5ft and in puts
  6. yeah i HATE MALLET putters im more of a blade guy any good older scotty camerons you know of?
  7. ahhh what about the older scotty camerons?
  8. my instructor has been teaching me the stack and tilt for about almost 2 years and the thing about the stack and tilt is that the pictures you see or the description your reading is an exaggeration and by exaggerating you are able to keep about 85 percent of your weight on that left side and a 15 percent weight transfer on his driver shots he still incorporates the stack and tilt but not as much as it is exagerated in golf digest BTW THIS IS MY OPINION
  9. well at the momment i have a scotty cameron newport 2.5 and im looking for a new better putter with better feel a scotty cameron preferablly any ideas?
  10. yeah i live in sierra madre which is next to arcadia so im willing to drive up to 30 minutes 1 hr if its really worth it problem is tho that like a bunch of the courses that i know like san dimas and brookside are being punched so i wanna play somewhere without punched greens
  11. if you hit your steel shafted irons well why change to graphite.... i believe that graphite is for people with lower swing speeds or for people who are more of a beginner....i dont know if thats true but its what ive heard but ahh yeah if your steel shafts are ok and you love them...why change? if you want to change shafts i suggest you get the project X shafts but they cost like 40 a piece now they use to be 30 at my friends shop
  12. sorry lol it was late but have they cuz one of the pros at the golf course i play at said they havent been approved... btw do u know if they cut up balls as bad as the spin milled wedges by titleist yeah after 1 minute of searching... you are right The CG12™ combines classic wedge design with advanced manufacturing processes. On each CG12™ wedge, the grooves are milled to maximum conforming dimensions using a proprietary CNC mill bit to create envelope-stretching geometry. To improve shot consistency, the new groove geometry was coupled with an innovative plating process - making ZIP Grooves™ Cleveland® Golf's most consistent, precise, and visible wedge technology to date.
  13. lol im not a 36 handicapper i dont have on and idont even know how that number got on there if i had a handicap it would probably be 4
  14. i believe that the CG 12 still has not been confirmed by the PGA as a pga usable wedge where as the spin milled has the reason being for the CG 12 is that the grooves are too wide and too deep to normal standards...its still under review its not confirmed so yah bad thing about the spin milled tho is that if you play pro v1s like myself then 2 shots with your spin milled and the ball has to be tossed
  15. Anyone know of any good courses that i could play around Los Angeles i live near the pasadena area.. thanks ive played brookside...not challenging anymore
