I'm off 4 now. My key is course management. don't make stupid shots you can't pull off. If your in the trees off the tee then punch out to a good yardage, wedge it on the green and 1-2 putt for bogey at worse. Pull the right club in the first place, don't think you can max out every iron, play for 1/2 club more. Keep track how many times you come up short and you will amazed. If you practice your chipping and putting its really tough to shoot over 80, unless your hitting balls OB, then they add up quick. Hope that helps

I got the Vizio 47 lcd tv from costco and it is nuts how crystal clear HD is. My old TV was like looking through drunkvision, I'm like did he hit the ball yet ? damn. . haha I cant wait

Your driver launch monitor numbers ???
Andaluzian replied to Andaluzian's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Hi Tom, You make some good points. My launch angle was around 12-13. I was swinging only around 70 percent due to a recovering injury. This is a crazy science. I went to try this Adams bty driver because I heard it was really low spin. So I'm on the LM hitting that and another guy walks up. I give him the driver to try and his spin rate was over 5000 while mine was nearly 2000. It's just amazing how all these factors equal distance. My typical ball flight with my old sumo driver was really high all carry and back out of its pitch mark. I'm atleast 1-2 irons longer than my group but was not showing up off the tee for some reason thats the reason I'm looking into all this stuff. I'll report back when the driver gets here. Thanks Oh and I did have the idea of trying different balls in specific conditions like you mentioned -
Hi All, Just curious what your driver numbers are and what driver you guys are using. This whole LM thing is very confusing. Sometimes the club they suggest work good and sometimes they are just way off. I was getting around 2100 spin rate off a 9.5 head with a stiff graphite shaft. My swing speed is around 100. My previous drivers were just giving me all carry and then hop out of their divot hole so I felt like I was losing yards. Thanks

New shaft high torque, what gives ????
Andaluzian replied to Andaluzian's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
The shaft feels a little whippy, but it really feels smooth with a less aggressive move on the ball, ie smooth tempo as you stated. I'm just hoping it doesnt breakdown if I try and put some extra into it. . for 200.00 it better hold up =). i'll report back once I get some more time with it. -
Hi guys, I would like your opinion on this one. I just got the new Adams drivers and had them put the Tour AD YSQ shaft in it. This is supposedly a tour quality shaft but the torque is 3.7 which seems very high to me. Here is the link to their site http://www.gdintl.com/product.php?cmd=ad&pid;=ysq It feels good but I've not had much time to really test it out. With a driver swing speed of about 102 should I be concerned with this high of torque ? Thanks in advance

HI guys, I just came from my local golf shop.I tried the new Adams XTD A3 and although it was into a net, the club feels solid and looks good. From what I understand the A3 is a 2 Degree closed model which is great for me since I draw the ball. The pro model is supposed to be 2 degree's open, but has a far superior shaft. My question is with the club being 2 degrees hope how tough will it be for me to turn the ball over and play my normal draw. . Thanks. PS ive not hit a pro model driver with the open club face yet

2008 Taylormade tour burner driver. thoughts ?
Andaluzian replied to Andaluzian's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Going to try the superquad and the XTD adams driver at range next week so we'll see. I'll also try moving the ball forward a bit to hit up on it. Anyone hit the XTD square driver ? -
Hi guys, I just got a nike sumo 5000 and its a very nice driver but pretty much all carry even with a cut down proto shaft and an 8.5 head. I just saw this new Superquad replacement coming out soon. Now don't take this the wrong way , but I wasn't super impressed with the first superquad that I demo'd it didn't feel all that forgiving. Do any of you quad users get decent roll or whats the deal and how is the forgiveness on that club vs my sumo. I know it's like very popular on tour but I'm just trying to get a bit more info. Thanks,

Hi Guys, I've been experimenting with tee height off the driver. I used to tee it fairly low and play a draw, but I found it much easier to tee it high to draw it and low to fade it . Whats your take.. ??? Thanks

Hi Guys, I currently don't have a driver and I've been waiting for the sumo 5900. I previously had the regular sumo with the VS proto. I liked the shaft but the head would put too much spin on the ball and was costing me distance so I sold it over the Winter season here. Anyway this driver comes with a few shaft options. Stock Diamana Yellow Board= I don't care for stock shafts VS Proto= leaning toward this one Proforce V2 My handicap is 5, driver swing speed 98-104, Tempo= smooth. thanks guys

Hi All, I've been watching the swing of Tiger on the nike site. I would like to put this as a screensaver but it's doesn't seem possible to save it from a flash view file. Is this for sale anywhere or does anyone know how to save it. Thanks,

Which ball do you use? or prefer?
Andaluzian replied to Robiola the Monster's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
just picked up some TA2 spn nike's on sale and boy do they feel great off the putter. I'll have to report back after hitting them. -
Nuke SQ sasquatch w/ s proto shaft. Best driver I've ever hit and I've tried all of them. Its a fairway finder, might not bet the longest but its up there. . The beast from the East...... can't wait to see the new square for 08

Cleveland Halo 2H, cuz it's a monster and ez to hit 200-225 Callaway x hybrid 4h from the rough or bunkers 180-200yds

3 wood distance Steel vs Titanium ??
Andaluzian replied to Andaluzian's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I'm going to try a steel 3 wood I think it will be better for control and distance since my ti 3 wood tends to baloon a bit and I would like to use it off the tee for accuracy. Thanks for the response. Now to figure out weather to wait for the nike square 3 wood or go traditional. It just doesn't end LOL -
I have the sumo and I can tell you this. I've literaly tried every driver on the planet and for me this is the straightest easiest driver I've ever hit. I even hit it off the deck into par fives. This is not something that is ez to do but I've pulled off some amazing shots. I got mine with the proto shaft and it made all the differenct. I know technology and you can't beat this club for the price. buy it, hit it . enjoy it. DONE

welp it's me again with another silly question. What gives you more distance and penetrating flight steel or titanium headed 3 wood. I currently have an x hot sometimes it goes like a bat outta hell, but mostly its a soft rising shot, it just seems like it hits it too high almost. Anyway looking forward to hearing your guys opinions G'day
