I did exactly the same thing. The way i fixed my driver shots were to stand closer to the ball and not beat the crap out of it. you need to learn to be consistent in where your ball lands and not how far it goes, so try the softer shots and closer to the ball and once you have that mastered then start hitting for distance
-
Its not about hitting it 300yards, its about consitently hitting it straight onto the fairway. Thats an achievement. 300yrds = 274m. Good on you for hitting it that distance but i would say if you hit it that distance and have an average of 60-75% onto the fairway then comeback with a video clip and people can take tips from that.

Are there any S.A. Golfers on this forum? Where u situated? How many times a week do you play?
-
the grounds are alot harder in winter
-
Personally i dont like doing anything in the winter especially when its as cold as it was on sunday but the bug has bitten so bad that its a force beyond my control. Answer to ur question, make sure you dressed warm and make sure you warm up properly before you tee off. And coffee, ALOT of coffee
-
You guys have soaring heat now, we have ice cold here in South Africa. Tried playing on sunday and shivered the shit out of my clubs. COLD = CLUBHOUSE = LARGE CUP OF COFFEE. The only good thing about winter is you get more distance which doesnt help when you trying to putt, lol

Actually, in my world, No. This is normal. I feel that without my 320, my bag is half empty. So "Hyperbolize" for u maybe, for me its being normal. You either live golf or you go play bowls bro, there is no other way.

im not removing the shaft myself, thatll be a disaster. Its been sent to The Pro Shop
-
Its never that easy hey....Damn. Now they have to send it away and inject some type gel to catch this this piece
-
Yeah, they pretty good with that. Pitty I didn't have the receipt but they only charged me 40 bucks so ill be back playing in no time.
-
Thanks for the reply, fortunately we have pro shops and the guys are 100% sure the can fix it. They say its the glue that hardens on the tip of the shaft when we replaced the shaft and when hitting the ball, the shock of that losened\broke off the glue, but well soon find out tomorrow. Thanks again for the replies

I have a huge problem. I have a Taylor Made 320, I was on the driving range and after a drive, it sounded like a loose piece of metal inside the head. It sounds like the tip of the shaft broke off. My question is : can it be taken out of the head? What do I do? This is like the end of the world for me....pls help!!!

ill try that , thanks

Hi inthehole, so what is the length of your club? or do you know how to calculate it, if it can be calculated?
-
What length should my driver be. Mine is between 1150mm - 1200mm long. I am 1780mm tall, is this too long and should i replace the flexi shaft with a more stiff shaft? The problem that i've seen with the flexi shaft is that even swinging slowly, the shaft is bending which intern is forcing the head to face outward. In the pic above you can see the length of the driver

How many of you have temper tantrums on the GC? As soon as i make a mistake i can feel myself heating up and wanting to beat the crap out of something. Those with big Tempers, how did you learn to control it?

Once this DVD is out, would i be able to get a copy here in South Africa? Thanks Clint

Hey all, I would like to know what to do about my chipping. I am really hitting descent shots on the golf course because of alot of practise on the driving range. I drive a good 220meter straight down the fairway and with my iron ill strike it that it lands well but as soon as i try and chip the ball onto the green i hit it straight over the green. everytime i can get a birdie score on a par 4 or par 3, i land up picking up my ball because i am doing something wrong with the wedge. no matter how soft i swing, its jumps way over the green. One thing i do is swing through, i dont know if thats right or wrong , maybe u can help me?
