Does anyone know of when the 2008 line from the club makers are coming out. I am looking to buy a new set of wedges and possible a new set of irons too. I know the hot list comes out around Feb 2008, but when does the new stuff get inside the stores. Just wondering because the Vokeys do not come in spin milled for the 52* loft as of right now, but I heard the 2008 models will come that way. Current, 54* the lowest the SM gets. I do not want to bend a 54 to a 52...It's all mental to me. If this isnt the case, then I get I will have to get a 52 200 series and settle for the 56 SM...Thanks

Also, Golf is a game of honor. I dislike it when a new golfer comes to me and tells me they shot a 90 for the first time, then I ask them how many mulligans they took and they said ONLY about 5 or 6. You will never know your true handicap if your using mulligans. One mulligan is too many. This was the best advice my Uncle gave me before I started playing. My current true handicap is a 6.3, which is down by 5 points from about a year and a half ago. Never cheat is basically the rule I live by on the Links and I honor that rule everytime I play. Nothing pisses me off more when I see the dreaded foot wedge from the rough or behind a tree when Im playing with someone. and If Im betting with that person, you bet your ass Im calling him on it!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Ya, he gave me suggestions, but the suggestions were for Callaway drivers that come with the stock shafts. If I dont go with a new driver, and keep my current one, I have a variety to choose form, not just Callaway stocks...

Yes I have. With my swing speed at 109, the club fitter suggested an x-stiff rather than my current stiff shaft... Also, with my ball flight being very high off the tee he also said to look for a shaft with a high kick point... Thanks

I have a question for you guys. I am in the market to purchase a new shaft for my driver. I need and x-stiff with a high kick point. Any suggestions would be nice...

Who is going to the Sherwood Country Club this year? My wife and I will be there on Friday and Saturday. I went last year on Sunday (worst day to go), most crowded day along with all the soggy and muddy conditions for all the walkers who trampled all over the course the previous 4 days!!!

It's all about hitting the shots 120 yards and in including putting.

Also, I see that your in Long Beach. Go to the Roger Dunn in L.B. or Anaheim to get fitted, they have outdoor ranges there. Let me know how it goes...

Always outside, and try to hit off grass and not mats. The flight of the ball is big when your trying to figure out which shaft to get too. I had stiffs fitted for myself when I was indoor, then luckily, I went to a different fitter who took me outside and said the flight of my ball along with my swing speed suggested I needed to be hitting x-stiff not stiff. Hope this helps...

That is a big club you belong to. My club only has about 40-50 members teeing it up on a Saturday. I belong to the Downey Golf Club in California. Our home course is Los Amigos in Downey, CA.
