  2. Their website says they have a .355 tip, which I believe is the tapered version.
  3. Thanks... I don't deny that the shaft exists... I've hit it in a fitting cart. I was wondering if anyone knew why Mizuno don't offer that in their custom fitting section when the offer the DynaLite Gold XP S300 and R300. http://www.mizunousa.com/golf/shafts-grips I know Mizuno do a lot of development and testing of shafts, is it feasible that they found that the X100 version of that shaft didn't perform well enough?
  4. I was looking at the mizuno website, in particular the shafts they offer in the custom department. I notice that they dont seem to offer the True Temper Dynalite Gold XP in a X100 flex. Does anyone know why this might be? They offer the S300 and R300 versions.
  5. LOL you are right that would really confuse someone. However when they realized that I can't hit those hybrids because I don't like the way they look then they won't be as confused. The MP59's 3-5 are easier to hit than the MP62's I currently have. I did notice that despite the stronger loft angles the JPX800Pro seemed to send the ball higher than I would like.
  6. All bets are off... I hit some MP69s and LOVE them.... I think I will split the 59s/69s and go 3-5 / 4-pw
  7. Ive actually tried that Odyssey Chipper at golf galaxy and i kind of liked it. Felt easy to hit, and it's a good length.
  8. Hey all, I went and hit a few Mizuno clubs this week and really like the feel of the new MP-59s. However I also hit the JPX-800 PROs and really liked their longer irons. I currently have a full 3-PW of MP62s and find the longer irons unreliable. I was considering splitting a set of irons into JPX800PRO (3-4-5), MP59 (6-PW) or (3-4)/(5-PW). My question is where do most people split sets? Is it more common to have 6-PW or 5-PW or even 7-PW. I realize it's personal preference, but out of interest I just wanted to see what people are doing. marc
  9. Hi all, Been skimming these forums for a while, finally decided to join. Love the game, been playing 24 years. Do all my own club work, and never get rid of my old sets.... i think that's bad Marc
