As you continue to play, you will discover yourself which ball you prefer to play. Until that happens, buy balls as you have been doing, vary the brand occasionally, and play with any ball you find that is in good condition. Eventually you'll know which ball works best for you.

I've never had a full matched set of wedges. Currently use four wedges... Mizuno, Vokey, and Callaway (2). Wedges don't have to match, but you do have to like the look, feel, and get good distance control.

I just registered here to enter the US Open contest. I'm active on some other golf forums and have been browsing the topics here. I really like the reading room since I have a lot of books and really like studying and experimenting with the golf swing. I normally don't start many new topics, but I'll comment occasionally when I think I can make a contribution to the discussion.
