Greg Norman and his design team built the Mayakoba golf course. He will be there to promote his masterpiece. I had the opportunity to play Mayakoba last October. It was a blast! Beautifully course through the forest, mangroves and down to the beach for 7th and the signature par 3 15th hole. The course didn't play very long, but there is a lot of water and trees if you hit an arrant shot.

Oh, I think the long putter should be allowed, I just can't get one to work anymore. -
I use the GHIN system, like many of the sandbaggers at my club. I see guys shoot in the high 70s and post in the mid 80s. What a farce.

When I was a little girl, I used what was a standard length putter that belonged to my uncle. Since I was so small, the putter was long in relation to my size (like a long handled putter). I could make every putt I looked at. It was like magic! When I grew up and became a man I couldn't make a long putter work anymore. I guess long putters are for little girls ------and maybe----- old people. -
To gain distance with your drives, you will need to hit the ball farther.

Standard putters should be banned and only long putters allowed to make the game harder for everyone. -

Exactly right! They should not be outlawed. Some people prefer them, some don't. It would be as ridiculous to outlaw hybrids. -
Sound like you are making good progress. Sometimes we try too hard to put power into our swing. You might try lightening up your grip pressure. Let the club swing "through" the ball. Avoid hitting at the ball. Don't look up till the ball is gone.
