I started playing golf last June and it's amazing how much I've grown as a golfer. On April the 1st I played Barren River State resort course in Kentucky, it has a slope rating of 140 and rating of 71.9 and plays 6,507 yards from the tips. I shot an 85 (that's counting every shot) I hit 11 fairways but only hit 6 greens in regulation. My game from 90-140 yards out was pretty good last fall but now it is really struggling I had two shanks from that distance and came up short several times. It seems like I've lost 20 yards on all my wedges. I need to work and improve on it because I have the distance off the tee and I have a decent short game therefore my scores should really improve if I can fix the wedge problems. Has anyone had these problems with their wedges? If so what did you to fix it?

I'm 16 I started playing back in the summer of 2012, I've improved alot. The last 3 times I've played 18 I shot an 81, 82, and a 80. I would love to be able to play college golf anywhere. I should be able to be shooting in the mid 70's by summer, because I make lots of small mistakes on the course. What would be the golf requirements in order to receive a scholarship to a college?

I started playing golf this summer, I started out shooting in the low mid to high 50's. After playing around 15-20 rounds I started shooting in the mid 40's on a normal basis. Now I've played around 35-45 rounds of golf total. Since our high school golf season has ended I hadn't been playing much. Today I went and played at our home course. I shot a 41 on the 1st nine and a 39 on the back. I shot an 80! It was just great.

I just started golfing in June and I joined the golf team, I'm the number 6 seed now. The last 5 matches I have shot 49,46,46,48,45 on 9 (played from the Back tees). When I first started I was shooting in the 60's on 9. Is my progress pretty good? I've only played around 25 rounds total.

How long till you got your first Birdie???? I sunk a 20+ ft putt for birdie tonight. It was amazing!

Sorry guys don't think I could do those request. But he remodeld some of the North course bunkers,tees, etc. when art hills was over renovations.

My dad worked for both of those architects Hills and Heilbron. My dad owned Kentucky golf construction and he "built" the golf courses, his name is Curtis Clemons.

Today I shot 47 i need to work on 50 yards in and i could lower my score.

This morning it was my 15th time on the golf course I had been shooting 52 or 53 consistently at golf practice but Ive been working on my driver and it paid off I shot a 45 on 9 holes!!!

What is yalls opinion on which shaft is better if you have a fast swing and you are a good ball striker?

Has anyone every played with a Cleveland Launcher xl270?, Im thinking about buying one just wanted to see how they are.

To mr.3 wiggle our high schools best 2 golfers shoot in the high 70's and I played yesterday with my friend who is the 4th seed on the team he shot a 51 on 9 and i shot a 54 and i couldnt drive out of a bucket, I didnt say i would be playing matches i'm just going to pratice with the team maybe next year ill be able to play, To mr.sandman I count every stroke no gimmes the course i shot a 102 on is easier than average its very short, but as i said yesterday i played 9 holes ...("other 27 holes we played best ball")... and shot a 54 from the white tees at woodson bend golf course in somerset ky, if it hadnt been for a 9 and 10 i shouldve shot in the mid 40's.

I don't care for the course at all its nothing compared to what my dad built... but its Fox Hollow in Glasgow ky its a short course but it makes up with the smallest greens iv'e ever seen.

I counted every stroke I made, including the one out of bounds drive. On the other hand my Dad does play on that day tho he wasn't felling well, hes taught me alot, he use to play pretty well, I know its very fun the previous three rounds we played in a foursome with my friend and his father, even tho i shot in the high 50's each time on 9 it was still fun, on the back 9 we played agianst my friend and his dad playing best ball. I enjoy golf and i would play every day if i could.

I had played 3 rounds of 9 hole golf, my 4th time playing i played the full 18, my dad drove the cart and kept sore I shot a 102 playing from the tip tees, is that good since its only my 4th time playing actual golf?
