1. Thanks Rick, I'll get a dtl view soon. I have been trying to stay more centered on the ball, but I did notice my head swaying on the driver.
2. Thanks mods
3. Guys, these are the links, maybe eric can help.
4. Thanks rick, can you see my videos
5. Guys, I am an idiot and I don't know if these are showing up, if not let me know and I'll find someone smart to do it. Thanks!
6. Hey guys, been out of golf for a bit, had a torn rotator cuff. I hit balls today for the first time since last summer. Been trying really hard to follow beachcomber, Eric, mike and everyone else's advice to improve my posture. Oddly, it has kind of hurt my ball contact, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
7. I read back and I see what you are doing, is the position you are looking to hit a product of the sequence of the downswing, or something else? I think what you said was that it was because of your position at the top of your swing after reading it again.
8. Are the things that you werent happy with evident in these frames. If they are could you show us what you are still working on? Sorry I just read the small print at the bottom of the pictures, I think what you were trying to say is that on the way down you want to hold your wrist angle a little longer? Is that what you are working on?
9. Thanks Iacas
10. I went today to try and fix my setup position. I dont know if I am still standing too close to the ball.
11. Glover Texiera is fighting Rampage I think. If he gets past him he will be in the mix.
12. I think your head is pretty good, until the very end of your backswing and than you lift up a little. That means you have to dip on the way down. The other thing is having your hands ahead of the club at impact. This is only what worked for me, I took what I felt like were 3/4 swings and practiced pivoting around my left leg, and really trying to take a good divot in front of the ball. Feeling that impact postion really helped me stop overswinging and staying centered over the ball. I hope that helps you some.
13. I dont like giving swing advice because I am not a pro, but I think people will tell you that your spine angle changes a lot during the swing which causes you to have to rely on timing. I think you could even begin by improving your takeaway by staying lower and keeping the club outside of your hands, while trying to stay more centered over the ball. I hope that is helpful.
14. As far as the weight cuts, they dont always show by the fighter having poor cardio. Sometimes they do so much cardio to burn fat they end up with really good cardio. The bad thing that happens is that they have no time to work on skills. Even the sparring sessions in the intense part of camp are so life and death they have to stick with what they know. They never have time to learn new skills, or even hone specific skills for that opponent. Im not saying thats why Munoz lost, just a thought. Ive seen Rampage do this throughout his career. I should say, unless they took the fight on short notice the blame lies squarely with the figher also. A profesional fighter should be in shape to a certain degree to even start a camp. After all, its their job.
15. Thank You for embedding
16. mma.tv
17. Weidman is really good, he almost beat Andre Galvao after one year of training at the ADCC championships, but I read that Munoz started his training camp at like 240 and had to spend most of the camp dieting, and it showed.
18. I have'nt been able to hit balls in a while, but I found a better angle on my down the line swing. I already have started to work on the knee bend that mikelegacy told me about. I am trying to work on a left to right shot, as it is now it is a push which I manage by aiming at the left side of the fairway. Sorry I dont know how to embed, will learn tonight.
19. Thanks mdl, I think mine is a swing issue ad not ball placement since my swing has become steeper with every club and my ball is moved up already. Glad to see you figured it out. Hope I can get a similar result.
20. Thanks, thats what I thought, I think I have become too steep. I like it because I cant make it go left.
21. Because thats is what has happened since I committed to stop making a big move off the ball. I am really straight, but like 20 yards shorter. I know its a downward strike, because I tee the ball below the clubhead and hit it in the middle. That tee height has now become best for solid contact.
22. It looks to me like the Tavistock cup, I saw it on youtube. The caption says Grant Waith, Ch111's swing coach, going to try to find. Sorry I dont know how to embed, and my fiance is asleep.
23. So we have Silva, JBJ, and Hendo, but does anyone else think machida has become lost in this mix. I know he could make middle and I know him and silva are teammates, but I would put cash down on Machida vs. Anyone not named Bones Jones. I truly believe he won his fight with Page. Imagine if he cut to middle. What do you guys think?
24. But the more I look he was probably going down by himself
25. Actually, I agree with you now, I think Silva stuck his foot out there though
