Shot a 65 in the final round of my first club championship! I was 17 years old and was probably a 2-3 hdcp. I shot a 76 in the first round and just found that magical swing on the range the next day! which led to the 65 with 1 eagle and 5 birdies. I have a handful of other rounds in the mid 60's but never found that "zone" and have been searching for it ever since.

One thing you can try is go to a golf store that does club work and see if they have any spare or "pull out" shafts. Another thing is try EBAY to see if anybody has one that they pulled and no longer need. If that is the case and you find a shaft, I would take take to your local club and they should be able to re-shaft for you for a small fee. Good Luck!
