  1. Stopped wearing a glove a few years ago and found I got blisters. Instead of putting it back on, I forced myself to reduce my grip pressure. Believe it made me play better and won't go back to wearing a glove. I also use Winn Dry Tech mid-size grips - that helps.
  2. Like picking your favorite kid. The good news is that you cannot make a bad choice.
  3. Broke 100 and then 90 in my first year or year and a half playing and shot a lot of rounds in the 80's for a few years after that. 80 on the number once actually, but never cracked it. Then I stopped playing for a few years and was lucky to break 100 on the rare occasions I played. I have been playing more this year (and actually practicing) and have it back in the 90s pretty comfortably, but haven't broken 90 yet this year. Did shoot 91 Sunday though so maybe I will before it gets too cold.
  4. Lawyer - my apologies.
  5. Driver: R11s $299.00 3 Wd: Titleist 906F about $200 5 Wd: Cleveland Launcher about $75 Taylormade 3i Hybrid: about $200 3-9 Cleveland TA2: used for about $200 56 and 60 Degree: Titleist Volkey $260 for both Putter: Scotty Cameron Futura present but retailed at the time for about $250 About $1,500 with cheap irons... wow. I didn't realize. I don't want to think about all the clubs no longer in the bag.
  6. Not sure how many you need to play to be qualified to answer, but Lahinch is beautiful. Bandon Dunes, given quality of all five courses in one resort, is also an unbelievable links destination. Of the small sample I've been lucky enough to play, Pacific Dunes has been my favorite.
  7. I played at West Seattle and Jefferson all the time when I lived there and with whatever the card you could buy, it got really cheap by the end of the season - especially in the evening. I also remember Lake Spannaway (sp?) near Tacoma was a great course, but a bit of a drive. Not sure if it is expensive now, but it wasn't 6-7 years ago.
