  1. Other thing is also to try personalizing/customizing your driver to compensate. Any adjustable driver should be able to help to some degree...
  2. Do they always have all models? or is it a pretty limited selection? I find that the few pro shops I have access to don't always have the full range etc. I mean what if you want to try say the new Titleist 913D2 but with stiff shaft and 9.5 degrees? do they have those options?
  3. Really difficult to say without knowing a lot more and even seeing your swing. One quick suggestion - and I am shooting blind here - is drop your right elbow- - keep it lower and closer to your body on your downswing...let me know how you get on?
  4. Interesting - just checked out golf redefined myself and have signed up. Love the idea and a great way to try out different drivers...Eich - I think you hit the nail on the head when you say "once I find"...I think golf redefined is a great way to "find" the driver that suits you...anyway happy holidays to all
  5. Man you look ridiculous - haha...you have a lot more balls than I do! Would love to be able to carry this off though!
  6. Hey Tiger - check out GolfRedefined to demo the best golf drivers...they have all the manufacturers and will send in the post. Then you can go to whatever course/range suits you
  7. Hahaha! Sorry Tom - think you are quite insane! Honestly it seems like you are doing all the right things and actually doing the practice. Don't think you need to get the most expensive equipment at all - seems much more about finding the equipment that suits YOUR game best...maybe have a look at golfredefined where you can do a whole lot of demo'ing of the very best golf drivers. they have them all... good luck
  8. are you completely wedded to the Adams? Other manufacturers also offer the laundry list I think... Quote:
  9. shouldn't you be looking at 2013 now? :) new models look great!
  10. not sure that trimming is the answer. I know a bit about high modulus carbon manufacturing and while I don't know much about shaft manufacturing per se all I know is that every part is designed and laid up in a way to match the stress and strain points. So I would imagine trimming in effect moves these stress points to a different part of the shaft where there MAY be weaknesses. Well probably not weaknesses but perhaps where that part of the shaft was not designed to take those stresses... Maybe I am overreading things into it but I think you are better off looking for a new shaft, if that is what your issue is... good luck!
  11. Man it sure does look ugly...particularly after the simplicity and styler of the r11s... could this see a shift in the power to other brands? Do people really care? or are we, as golfers, that brand loyal...
