1. I did not try the Mp69 but I did try the mp4's! The mp4's were just as good feeling but I couldn't hit them consistently enough to make them make sense
2. Today was the big day! I pulled the trigger on Some mizuno Mp64 irons with Kbs tour stiff shafts and 1 degree flat. 4-P
3. Which do you game?
4. I would like to know if they actually add yardage... I like steel shafts for the consistency and the feel/weight but would love a few extra yards. Are they as consistent as steel and do they also add yards?
5. Has anyone tried the Steelfibers from Aerotech?
6. What is the weight on those shafts?
7. Hello wonderful people of The Sand Trap community. Tonight I have a question regarding shafts in my irons. I have been considering getting a new set of irons and recently posted a thread (New irons for a teen) regarding iron choices. Though I plan to get custom fit I really don't know where to start. I like a heavier shaft and currently use Dynamic Gold S300 shafts which I would not mind having a bit heavier shaft than that. I swing my driver around 103-105 MPH and as I have been working on core strength and overall strength my swing speed has been increasing. I am not against the idea of graphite shafts but I do want something that feels similar to a steel shaft. I know that Project X, KBS, Dynamic Gold, Nippon and Aerotech all make a high quality iron shaft but I would love to hear what you guys prefer and what you would recommend for me. Anything helps and I wish you all a Bogey-free new year .
8. What about miura
9. THANK YOU FOR POSTING YOUR GHIN. The ability to confirm a low handicap with long distances makes me believe you! Good luck in your golf and tournaments :)
10. I see that but still I find those numbers to be very big. Maybe you are one of the few honest yardage people online but I see plenty of people who pad their numbers. I think my biggest question is why are you still an 18 handicap if you can pound it that hard
11. I mean I wanna believe the distances this is referring to.
12. I
Cool! Another guy who hits all his clubs longer than the longest tour pros! But is an 18 handicap!
I want to believe this but really can't... Those numbers are just so huge. I mean maybe if he is an ex body builder who has Charles Barkley type putting yips and can't hit greens or fairways
13. What a great first game for Percy. A huge 1 handed catch on 3rd down and a 58 yard kickoff return... Man I am so pumped about this team. On the road to 15-1!
14. Thanks man! GO HAWKS
15. Yeah from what I have gathered I do have a short list. My list includes Mizuno Mp54 titleist CB callaway apex pro/x forged and ping s55
16. That was my feeling. When you get to a certain point no club can help you that much. I'm just tired of hot spots on my irons and want a change in look
17. Driver: 270 ish 4 wood: 230 Hybrid: 210 4 iron: 200 5 iron: 190 6 iron: 180 7 iron: 165 8 iron: 150 9 iron: 138 46 degree: 120 50 degree: 108 56 degree: 100 60 degree: never take a full swing Putter: idk maybe 180? I play Titleist ProV1x golf balls and I play in western Washington at a golf club with pretty tight fairways and the greens run 10-11. I'm 16 and 5'8" and I have added yards recently because I have started to work out more. Hope this is all the info you need to choose whether you want to believe me or not :)
18. For the right irons I may drop up to 1400 but only if they are absolutely amazing
19. I am prepared to drop up to 1150-1200. They are really an investment and want them to last at least 5 years
20. That might be a good idea. I like the idea of blades I the short irons but I am scared to hit a bladed 3 iron
21. Are the mb's really hard to hit?
22. Haven't decided. I'm going Saturday to do some testing... Any other suggestions?
