Finally got back down to my 6 handicap. It's been awhile.chipped in for birdie on the first hole and birdied the second hole as well.got two other birds and ended up with a 77. Also missed 6 other birdie putts, that woulda been a nice round if I could have sunk them

Par 5. , 519 yard . Hit my drive slightly downhill 347 yards and bombed it. Right side of fairway with a small branch in my way.about 172 to the pin. Took a 9 iron and cut one down hill and rolled up past the pin about 25' away. No movement on the putt and sank it for eagle.

Almost dunked a 122 yd par 3 for an ace yesterday. It pancaked 14" in front of the cup

I was -1 on the 12th hole and it started raining and lightning.Never got to finish. One of my best rounds ever and couldn't even play the last 6 holes .I missed 6 other birdie putts but still held it together to stay below par

The past two seasons I was about a 6 handicap. Now I suck and can't hit the ball. I just wanted to throw that out there and let everybody know. I use to hit 300+ us drives now they fade to maybe 260 on a good day. Long irons fade awefully , short irons are spot on with good distance. Wtf Three weeks of misery .probably the wrong area to post this but I thought I would share my agony with everyone .

4 birdies in a row is pretty sweet. I've only got 3 in a row once before. But this week I did something I've never done before. I hit the last 14 greens in regulation to set up for 14 birdie attempts In a row . I putt very well but missed all 14 birdie putts by a fraction. I could have been 9 under . Oh well. At least I parred them all. I'm hoping to continue that .

260 yard par 4. Nice easy swing with my 3 wood .Ball sticks 8' from the cup. Yes , choked on the eagle putt and made the birdie. I'm about 4/50 on eagle Putts this year.

Figured it out. I was standing about 3" too far away from the ball and reaching for it. Hence, topping the ball. It really helps to put tape on the club head to see where your making contact...

It definitely feels now like my legs and hips aren't doing what they are suppose to be doing.I practice every day and the only time I can get off a good driver shot is when I only think about swinging, not hitting the ball. I was clocked at 138 mph driver club head speed. So I have a tendency yo always swing hard. I'm thinking that I can afford to slow my swing down to get a better rhythm. Question: when i start my down swing , should my hips be unloaded before my upper body starts turning. I try practice swings and what i try to achieve is perfect balance on my finish. I just can't replicate it when I go to hit the ball. Any suggestions

I hit a few balls and I think I wasn't rotating properly. I'm swinging all arms. Does that sound right? Now I think its just tempo

I'll tty slowing it down. Do u think I could be too close to the ball since I'm such hooking?

I need some serious help. I have an 8 handicap, I hit my irons exceptionally well ( long and short irons) I can usually manager my driver to the point where I hit 10 or more fairways per round with it. But recently , I was playing a round and hitting every fairway. Then about the 13 tb hole I completely lost my driver swing.It literally went away in an instant...gone. Since then, I cannot even make solid contact with my driver.Im hitting the ball left, right, way right , topping, severe duck hooking , slicing , etc.. I can literally hit a bucket of balls and maybe hit 3 shots that are OK.Its so damn embarrassing I Dont even want to play anymore. Its so frustrating when you have a flawless textbook iron swing, but can't hit your driver or woods at all. Not even remotely close .I stopped using my irons off the tee box because its just not fun anymore.so I Dont even want to play. Van someone tell me some sort of issue I may be having? I would have to say that my usual shot with my driver ( if I concentrate and stay focused) will typically go 100 yards and then duck hook hard left., and sometimes burn into the ground right off the tee box and go only 50 yds .I just can't hit my driver period! Please help

40 yd chip shot , had it roll to within sniffing distance of the cup, maybe an a*# hair or two away from dropping. There was literally more then half the ball over the cup and it didnt drop. Dont even know how that is physically possible.I waited for gravity to help me .didn't help ... still parred it.

Par 4 . 450 yards Hit a rope on my tee shot and had about 155 to the pin from my very rare center of the fairway. Also hit a high ball on a rope with my 8 iron 3 ft past the hole... almost went in for eagle. Made the birdie putt. Then I had a case of PBS ( post birdie shot) and shot an recorded an 8 on the very next par 5 . One bad hole can really mess up the scorecard .

No great shots this week except a 330yd drive and a 250 yd 3 iron shot.

Finally dialed in my driver. I hit 6 drives on Sunday over 300 yards. Averaged around 290 for the day. Too bad only 10 of 14 drives hit the fairway.

Played a scramble today . Last hole we were on was a par 5 . 584 yards Drive was great.. I was standing next to a sprinkler head on my second shot that said I was still 275 yds out. I let the other guys hit first to put one in play . We had a great second shot. So I couldn't lose I let one rip. I literally gave it everything I had with my rocketballz 5 wood. Perfect smash that landed 20 yds in front of the green and rolled onto the green about 25' from the cup. I swaggered up to the ball as confident as I had ever been , putt the ball and it rolled in the cup for eagle. It probably was the best played hole I could imagine.

Long par 4 . I hit my drive 310 yds out into the left side second cut. A little thicker grass then usual. 175 to the pin. Pured a 7 iron on my second shot straight as an arrow long high and perfect. Hit 8' from the pin and gently rolled stopping 10" from the cup.

My best shot was almost a better shot. I was playing an up hill par 5 , which I thought was a par 4. Hit my driver up hi about 265 yds right side of the fairway. then hit my 7 iron 175 yds. steep up hill, probably 40' elevation in 170 yds. Lands 6' from the pin and backspins to about 12'. I just ever so slightly lipped the cup and it rolled back to 3 on my eagle putt.' ( very steep pin placement) I sank the birdie putt, but walking off the green my buddy tells me , hey u know that was for eagle right! So that was my best shot of the day.

Hole 18 par 5 .veeeery long hole. Hit a 290 yd drive which left me around 260 yards to the pin. I usually don't try to hit any cute shots with my fairway woods but I grabbed the 5 wood rocket ball. Couldn't have pured it any better.hit the green about 25' from the pin from 260 out straight as an arrow. Perfect eagle putt that stopped 1/2" from the hole.I waited awhile and gravity didn't help me

Chipped in for birdie on a 500 yd par 4. Didn't even need the putter

Hole 14 Bethlehem golf course. Heavy wind right at me. Par 3 173 yds. Hit my five iron crisp into the wind.faded 5 yards to the right with the green slope and rolled 2 ft past the hole . Almost went in. birdied it .

Par three 182 yards pin in the back. Wind right to left.Hit a crisp 6 iron on the up side of the green , ball trickled down and almost made a hole in one , rolled 6 ' past the hole.Almost an impossible shot but it took the exact flight path that I envisioned before I hit the ball.happens very seldom. Next par 3 I was on scoped out at 137 with the wind.I hit an easy wedge and landed the ball beautifully 10' in front of the stick and it rolled straight for it, but stopped 18" from the pin. Almost had 2 Aces in one day. I also managed to hit my driver off the fairway on a long par 5. Great day on the links.
