  1. No, but I took the 'World's smallest political quiz', and it determined that I AM indeed a libertarian. http://www.theadvocates.org/index.html - Greg
  2. I'm a librarian.
  3. Hi. I'm a noob to both the board and to golf. I played a at Groff's last year. Interesting course. I spent most of my time on the wrong fairways, but at least I could see the right fairway from where I was. - Greg in Lancaster
  4. The most important thing I'll buy this year is more lessons. I just purchased a used Ping Putter: G2 ZSB. I previously used a putter I got for $5 from a discount store (Ollies). Irons would be next on my list as I'm using a $90 set (purchased for $50 on sale at Boscov's). I couldn't even tell you the name. That being said, at what point does it make sense to get custom fitted? This is only my second season playing, thus the cheap clubs. But I think I'm hooked. Do I get an interim set of irons now that will last me for a few years until I'm 'worthy' of a custom fitting. The reason I ask is because I wonder if custom fitting is worth it since my swing mechanics are likely to change greatly in the next few years as I get more playing time and more lessons. Sorry, did I hijack this thread? Admin, feel free to move if appropriate. Thanks, Greg
