  1. I've found that no matter what the chipping style, low runners or high and soft, putting ur weight forward is the key, except for a flop shot.
  2. Definitely Adam Scott, I believe he has the greatest golf swing the game has ever seen.Posture, take away, downswing, impact position, and follow thru are about as perfect as it gets. But I've learned u can't copy someone else's swing, u can take things from their swing but u have to swing ur own swing.
  3. I am interested in buying a ping hoofer extreme bag but one of the shoulder pads has come off the strap. Can this be fixed and how. Appreciate any answers, thanks

  5. does anyone know the tip size for a set tommy armour 845 silver scott's fs, the fs set came out in 2003. I think it is .355 but I want to be sure and I cannot find anything on the web about it, literally nothing. any answers is appreciated.
  6. It was like the brass piece was screwed into the tip
  7. Okay, I just heated it up some more and the rest of it popped out. It was graphite and a piece of metal, looks like brass, it kinda looks like a screw, shaped like one.
  8. I have a set of 845 silver scott fs, they have graphite shafts and I've snapped 4 of them off flush with the hosel. I want to reshaft them with steel shafts. So I heated up the hosels on the broke heads and got the tip of the shafts out those heads, or so I thought. It looks like there is some sort of metal in the hosel. Its like there is still graphite in the hosel and in the center is metal. What is that? It is very hard to get out. I've tried drilling it and its working but not very well.
  9. Ive had all of them except the 8, 9 and pw reshafted because I broke them. The three clubs I mentioned are the only ones I havent broken. I bought the irons from my brother and the shafts were about 3 years old. After breaking them off I had them reshafted, except 8, 9, and pw. After having them reshafted I eventually broke those off, with the 3 I broke yesterday, they are all broke except the 8, 9, and pw. I dont really believe what the local pro told me because of what u said, mickelson used graphite and he has some serious club speed. But its not just the 845's, I have broken 2 taylor made irons with graphite (3, 6 iron). I have never broken a driver or 3 wood but I have snapped 2 adams tight lies fairway woods. Im a fairly good ball striker and when this has happened I hit the ball flush and the ball traveled good, its not like I shanked it off the hosel. I love the feel of graphite shafts and would like to put graphite on my main set of irons, titleist ap2. But every time i snapped one off, I was really trying to rip the ball and when I try to really muscle the ball my downswing can be, the best word to describe itb would be violent, lol, smooth but very fast hips and alot of push with my legs. This just makes me hesitate on putting graphite on my ap2
  10. I dont know why but when I hit irons with graphite shfts, I snap the club head off, even when I hit the ball flush. I have an old set of 845's silver scott and they havegraphite shafts, stiff flex. I was at home hitting balls into a net and snapped the 3, 5, and 7 iron off. I didnt hit it on the hosel either. Thru the years ive broke every one of em off and had them reshafted, which im not doing again, I never play rounds with them, just hit em in the yard or at the range. Anyway, a couple years ago, the pro at my local course told me that my clubhead speed is way to fast for graphite shafts, even the stiffest flex gives too much. Im not a big guy 6 ft. around 155 but I do generate alot of clubhead speed. Is this true, can some players have to much speed in their swing for graphite. Ive never broke a head with a steel shaft.
  11. I also still have a biggest big bertha, another great driver but for some reason I could never really get the ball in the air the way I like with it,but could hit pretty far.
  12. I wish this one had the x100 shaft. It has ust gold 75 low torque stiff flex, the clubhead is in great shape. Ur right when u miss hit it,u pay for it but when u catch it flush, the ball just launches. Ive never hit a driver as far as the 975d, even the new tm's. I plan on buying up as many as I can find, I'll probably play the 975d the rest of my life.
  13. I play all titleist clubs, woods, irons, wedges and putter. Ive been playing a 913d driver, that I bought used and I havent liked it. Its way to big. I came across a 975d on ebay and bought it. I used to own one years ago and regrettably sold it. I got it yesterday and hit it on the range and wow! I forgot how great this driver is, even tho it is outdated in my opinion its still the best driver ever made. I hit the ball farely long, with my 983k and the 913 I hit it around 280,after a few shots and I warmed up I was hitting the 975d at the 300 mark, a few went past. Even with all the new technology and even Taylor Mades new drivers, I believe this is still the best driver at least for me. I dont like the big clubheads on the new drivers, for me 300 cc is the max.
