Well I got it below retail price of the equipment, so the 4 rounds of golf were free basically. Pretty crazy. Now I just need to get out and test the new stuff to see if I like them better than my current stuff. I actually had just ordered new shafts for my irons that are sitting at Golfsmith waiting for me to pick up. So need to make a choice, so I can at least return those. Still crazy that my wife gave me the green light to bid on them, and she wasn't even drinking so I must have done something good.

had to use some GolfGalaxy coupons, so grabbed a Ping hat, a dozen Taylormade Project (a) balls and an oh so important pair of socks.

Yeah I have a 5.0 on my old putter and I really like it. However I had been testing putters with the 3.0 and decided I liked it the same, plus it fits in the golf bag a lot better.

Put a SuperStroke Slim 3.0 on my Versa #7.

From CallawayPreowned, bought Xhot 5 wood, Xhot 4 Hybrid and a 36in white Versa #7. I can't imagine buying anymore clubs for 12 months. Will likely head out to put a SuperStroke grip on the new putter though. Balls, Tees, Gloves, some clothes or little things are all I can foresee purchasing for the next 12 months.

I just picked up my driver that I had cutdown a half inch, so paid for that and the grip. Then a cleaning tool. However, I keep going and testing the Odyssey Tank #7 Versa SuperStroke putter and it's making me crazy. I have been on the shelf for a over a month with putting the only thing I could do. If I ever have a putt on carpet competition in my house I'm going to make a lot of dough. Man, just don't know about dropping the coin.

Grabbed a White R1 Reg Flex shaft from Golfsmith. Had to use the giftcard I got that was burning a hole in my pocket.

Order from Galaxy another pair of Ecco Street Golf shoes after wearing my one pair around friday just as regular shoes. they are freaking comfortable even on pavement all day

Grabbed some Ecco Golf Street shoes to go with my Maide Golf pants. Now going to just rock those at work and get some range, putting, and chipping time during lunch. I hate the time change where it will be dark when I leave work at 5:45.

Not a golf store really, but just rec'd my order from Maide Golf to try their golf pants. So we'll see how that goes.

Damn Stoke, 3 weeks? Well that just killed my hopes and dreams.

The old birthday is coming up and my wife wants to know what to get me. I want some lessons. I found out you apparently don't have to be a member at Canongate to take lessons. I haven't seen any reviews for adults, but lots of positives for juniors. The other place that's close is Massengale's at Augusta Pines, but the reviews have been pretty mixed leaning towards negative. If anyone has any experience with either of these I'd appreciate it.

Anyone with experience in ordering clubs with shafts other than the stock - Do you have a time frame of how long it takes? It's been 10 days since my order was put in and still waiting to hear they came into the store. I'll be honest they said it was quick then I call 5 days later and they said it usually takes 10-15 days, so I guess i'm right in range. Still I'm dying to get my clubs and get out and play.

Ordered some G25s (4-U) Black Dot Dynalite Shafts and got a shirt and some shorts my wife said i should get while we were checking out.

I am done with purchases....for now. This week I have bought a nex X hot 3 wood, 3 boxes of Z star XV Yellow and 5 boxes of Z Star Yellow. With both Z stars on sales for 19.99, I just decided to clean out most of the Academy in the Woodlands. Only thing I can think I would buy anytime soon would be new gloves as they wear out quickly in the summertime here in Houston.

Just bought all the Zstar XVs at Academy and then another 5 boxes of Z star regs in yellow for $20 a box in store.

Wanted to see what people's thoughts were between the SuperStroke 3.0 vs the Winn Jumbo lite? Golf Galaxy had some putters with the different SuperStroke grips on them, so it was nice to feel the difference actually swinging the club vs my current putter grip. However, I found the Winn Jumbo Lite grip and it felt pretty good as well, but not having it on a putter to test makes a little harder to choose. I do like the $10 savings the Winn provides, so might go with that on money savings alone. But seriously if anybody has actually putted with both it would be good to hear your thoughts. I realize it is still a personal choice on my part, but reviews from others help with informed decision making.

Last trip was a good one. Last night picked up some new Mizuno MP-H4s. I had to take out a HELOC time get them, and who knows when I'll be able to afford to play again. Damn they are sweet though.

New white Nike hat. Nothing exciting, but soon both a 52 and 56 wedge will be finding their way home with me. Oh yes they will be mine

Chipping Net, Nike Plaid Cart Bag and my 2 year old daughter had me buy her a club headcover that is a dog with a green jacket on, because she saw animals in the store. He is now aptly name "Gusta" cause she can't say Augusta.

So I have seen the putting mirrors out there, and I was wondering if I could make my own? Has anybody done it and could they tell me how they did? Or is just paying the $60 worth it? Appreciate the help.
