I agree 100%. I've visited my local golf shop several times this last year planning to check out Callaway, TaylorMade, Nike, etc. But after several tests on the launch monitor and my local range, I've spent my money on Cleveland clubs every time.
I can't stand their logo and I really don't know which tour players use their clubs. I just know that I really enjoy hitting them.
My emotions are susceptible to big marketing budgets just like the next guy (hence my desire to always check out Callaway, TaylorMade, Nike), but the launch monitor and driving range trials usually neutralize the playing field for me.
