  1. Thanks guys, I've watched a few of them and they've been a great help. One thing I hate however is I'll watch the video's and get a grasp for it. But then when I'm at the range, I'll forget parts. Mostly the positions of each iron.
  2. Hello, I am really new to golfing, and mostly go to the driving range alone. So since I really have no one to teach me, I was wondering if anyone knew any good free videos I can watch online that can teach me the basics of a good golf swing? I plan on taking lessons in the near future, but would prefer to get a solid base before I do. So would anyone happen to know any? Thanks,
  3. That's what I thougth. I read alittle about the history behind Founders club. Apparently they were a top club maker in the mid 90's, but then got sold to some Asia based company, and then Callaway made they way to the top, and Founders Club was scarpped until 2003 when someone else picked them up. Anyways, I ended up picking up a set of Top-Flite XL5000. I was looking at the Top-Flite SD which has the graphite irons, but settled for the steel Irons because I've head bad things about graphite irons.
  4. I'm from Ontario, Mississauga/oakville area to be exact. I've also been hearing good things about the top-flite brand. Would they be better than these "founders club" ?
  5. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any expirence with the company; Founders Club? I am looking for a starter set of club's when I came across these: http://www.golftown.com/gtcommerce/s...-P5896C26.aspx From what the sales guy told me was for the cost, Founders Club is the best you can get. For the quality of there clubs you would have to pay quite a bit more in another brand to compare it to. However you can never really trust sales guys . So does anyone have anything to say about them? Good or Bad? Also if anyone could reccomend something else around the same price range (preferrably from the site listed above) that would be great. Thanks,
  6. Hey everyone, I recently went to a new driving range with my driver, and over swung my follow through and hit a giant beam behind me. I seem to have damaged the head of my driver right under the toe. Now I know usually anything that's not on the face is usually just cosmedic, and won't affect your game. However with the position of this (the scuff is at the very bottom of the face, and a giant lip has seemed to form) I am concerned about it. Take a look at the photo and let me know what you guys think: Thanks,
  7. I like the early morning while the air is still cool, the sun isn't too high, and the weather isn't too hot.
  8. Heh, I feel the same way. Starting out new at age 21, and already went through 2 drivers! Is it just me or is titanium an over statement :P
