I know many golf fans who do not like Johnny Miller for a variety of reasons. I have always defended him and said that I like his honesty and candid commentary. As of today I am in the "do not like" Miller camp. During the third round of the Tour Championship, the camera focused on an Auburn University fan holding two umbrellas. Miller said "He must have taken those from two old ladies". What was the point of the comment? The fan isn't a player. Miller wasn't commentating on a shot made. That was a rude remark by, what I now believe is, a rude man. Miller is a jerk. As a matter of fact, he and NBC deserve each other.
