  1. Cool :) She is one of the greatest in my book :)
  2. A cold wet white blanket greeted me when I returned to Sweden. When I left for South Africa the golf course at home (in Sweden) was dry, the sun was shining and spring was in full bloom (or at least on it’s way big-time). During my stay in S-A it looked very promising with temperatures as high as 57.2f, 14C, I was really looking forward to hitting the links and get my new season ON. Landing in Stockholm, I was greeted by a cold wet white blanket, and the white stuff keeps on coming. I know its barely the end of march and such weather is to be expected in this part of the world, but non the less it puts a dampener on the spirits, a cold wet white one. Cheers I love this game (most Days) A
  3. Hey sign me up too :)
  4. Hey I’ve been down I South Africa for about two weeks now, last time I came down here I bought a set of old Maxfli revolution clubs, midsize heads, dried out grips, true temper El-70 shafts regular flex. The shafts might be a little to weak, but that has helped me to focus more on getting the swing right then on swinging really fast. At home I’ve been playing titleist ap2’s with stiff-300 shafts. I’ve always been hitting a slight fade at least with the “woods” due to the fact that I’ve been coming over the top a bit, Don’t’ do that anymore due to the good advice I've gotten here, I have some issues with stress on the course meaning that I’m causing myself to stress and rush through my routines. I played two courses while down here Howick country club, and Sakaboole. Started out on Sakaboole, a strange golf course, par 5 on par 5 long, the fairways wasn't in good shape. Howick on the other hand was in good shape but the greens where hard and fast, I don't know how many times I Landed the ball well before the pin and saw it shoot of the green. I scored okay though, 81-78-81 so I'm happy On my last round there I was fortunate to play with a young man who's going to start playing on the sunshine tour in January and his caddy, that was exciting, however I got a bit caught up with trying to hit the ball as long as they did (silly of me) an lost a couple of strokes on that. I learned a lot about what I need to do to play better I need to Play my game. Anyhow, the season in Sweden is just around the corner I’m really looking forward to it. Love this game (most days) A
  5. Thanks :) I'll keep working on it. I still need to work on my wrist at the top of the swing, as you wrote earlier it is as they collapse, and that causes me to loose some with at the top. I also need to work on keeping the wrist cocked longer to create more lag, I still hit it fairly long though, the "ave" for an eight iron is 155 meters but non the less it needs addressing.
  6. From South Africa, this is the way my swing looks when I actually hits a ball.
  7. Until I get the chans to hit balls outdoors. I believe that this is what I need to do, create width, if I understod the Zach Johnson images correctly?
  8. Yeah sure, I'm flying out to South Africa next week, I'll film my swing on the range down there, the weather isn't really permitting that here at the moment. I'll work on the "elbow thing", do it slower and I'll try not to collapse my vrists at the top. :)
  9. Is this more in the manner that you are suggesting? This will take some getting use to, I can see, looking at the pros, that it's the way all the good ones does it but it feels a bit strange to me. However I understand the benefits, doing it this way will make it easier to stay on the right path so to say. My over-swinging is another issue though, I'll try to do 3/4 swings and see where that takes me, any thoughts on that? Thanks a million for all the good feedback!
  10. This is from my at home session this morning (hence the morning hair) Less over swing, better posture, better hip rotation, better "forward push". I'm using a 7 iron shaft with three golfballs at the end. Hopefully I'll be able to go to the range later.
  11. working on my swing, at home... still over swinging a bit.
  12. BTW this is what i looks like with the swingbyte device, a different club though six iron. https://rest.swingbyte.com/s/xZM2SubGREWd6_T4ueslPw
  13. Yes absolutely, I'm aware of that. My swing was far worse last season and I still got down from hcp 27 to 9. I figured that I needed to do something about it, and I've spent a lot of time working on it step by step. :) It's a great forum this and I really appreciate all the feedback.
  14. That is good feedback! I'll try it out as soon as I get back to the range.
  15. At the indoor range earlier today, 20' hybrid 91mph, clubpath 1.1' in out attac angle 9.9' down tempo 3.2 over-swinging that's obvious, some swaying going on to, hitting the ball solid though. casting the right arm too, standing to far from the ball. I believe that I need to slow down a bit, I cast the right arm less when and i seem to be able to control the ball flight better.
  16. Thanks. I usually hit the ball to where I want to but, when I fail to move my weight forward I hit it "to high" and loose that "penetrating" ball flight that I strive towards. This usually happens when I "Fail to take the time to prepare" and rush through the pree-shot routines.
  17. Working on moving the weight forward through impact.
  18. You are Absolutely right, I'm thinking that It might make it a little easier on my right hand though, which makes it worth a try. I've already had the protheses replaced once so I'm not so keen on putting to much pressure on it.
  19. Okay I see, I'll give it a go next time at the range and see how it works out for me.
  20. Regarding Jim Furyks grip, I didn't realize that he did that. What would the benefits be from that type of grip?
  21. Thank you! Yes I agree I need to work on getting that weight forward. I've started doing an exercise where I put the back of a chair against my left hip with the goal to push it forward att impact and followthrough. I might have overdone the foot flare a bit.
  22. One part is that I started doing an exercise where I take my stance with my buttocks against a wall and "roll" against the wall making sure that I've got a smooth but solid contact throughout the swing back and forth. The second reason is (I think) that I started flaring out the feet, which make my knees flare out too. I know that I hid down on the ball (with irons and fairway woods), the attac angle differs a bit from club to club, but it's around 9 degrees, what that says about my wrist being bowed or not i don't know. However I've got a protheses in my right hand, after a motorcycle accident, so the wrist is quite stiff.
  23. more in this manner?
  24. I did these swings bare fot, it's easier to see what I'm doing with them. I seem to be moving my left fot. Should I try to keep it in it's final position, flared out, or is that to much?
  25. At the indoor range, iron 6 swing speed 92mph tempo 3:2. Trying to remember to "flare" the feet. unfortunately I've only got the down the line view. Since i focused more on the swingbyte 2 device that I got yesterday.
