  2. Thanks guys, yes Alohaed....in comparison to my OGIO Wedgē which I absolutely loved....it's way better. It has an external umbrella holder, lots of pocket space, putter holder which is seperate from a 15 way top. It weighs 6.5 lbs which is on the heavy side but those extra 2 lbs are definitely all quality. It seems to almost keep clubs from falling all over the place if the bag gets off balance a little too...a couple times I thought I was gonna lose clubs from the bag tilting greater than 90 degrees but they didn't even slide....the putter compartment can easily fit the jumbo grip and still have room. Plus it's got a satin like finish on the inside for easily letting clubs fall into the bag and to help save your grips....lots of clip points for clipping say a brush, or anything else really that you wanna add, a rain hood (high Quality), you could actually fit an extra set of shoes in it, can carry about 40-50 balls, 300 tees and still have space left.....it's basically a tour bag made into a cart design with extreme quality....I can see why the bag was on back order. Sun mountain ended up taking over my order themselves and skipping the store I originally ordered from....when I opened the box and pulled the bag out....I honestly felt like I ripped them off. It's a one of a kind bag IMO and probably won't see this kind of quality again any time soon. Not being bias to my bag...just being honest. It has a thick rugged almost military feel with a sleek, expensive, flashy look.
  3. Just came yesterday and I gotta tell you....this bag is absolutely by far the best bag I've ever had!!! Quality is superb, deep pockets, built to last, great looking, very convieniant and organized...so happy I got it!!!
  4. Where is your ball placement when using your wedges? I use to struggle getting them to go anywhere as well...use to hit my 56* sand wedge 80 yds until I moved the ball back about 21/2 balls in my stance and opened up slightly to compensate for it....now I'm nailing it 115 and can alter that distance by moving slightly fwd....but my wedge distances maxed are as follows.....52-125 56-115 and 60-105......all just from moving the ball back and swinging down on it....the downside is I take a massive divot with that style....give it a try though....lots of spin too!
  5. That's the one I ordered...hoping it's nice!
  6. Bags, seem to lose their balance rather quickly but I think that's part of loading them up awkwardly...I ordered the red/black/white....I was torn between that and the shadow black/blue...the deciding factor was the red/black/white matches a lot of my clothes, my nike balls and putter. I actually prefer the bag to be heavier so I'm hoping it is, I really never walk anyways and I like the heavy duty stuff. The bag has a pretty classy look from what I see in pics, plenty of pockets too.
  7. Hahaha!! So true....wasn't thinking correct....but you get what I'm saying as far as the relationship to swing path, club face and target?....lol that's funny, totally wasn't thinking
  8. Just a quick update...I ordered the bag and they are on back order till 4-26-14....a few weeks away and I will let you know. Thank you!
  9. Draw-if you want the ball to start right and come back in to your target with a mid iron (8-4) get your swing path going right of the target then aim the club face half way between the target and your swing path....so if your target is 12 o'clock...swing path is at 2 o'clock and club face is at 1 o'clock. If you want a bigger sweeping draw swing path 4 o'clock and club face 2 o'clock. When drawing with longer clubs 3- driver the relationship will be different you will need a 1/4 relationship....swing path 3 o'clock, face at 2 o'clock and target at 12 o'clock. With a short iron or wedge (9 iron-wedges) it's a 3/4 relationship....swing path at 3 o'clock, club face at 1 o'clock, target at 12 o'clock......same rules apply for fade For a power fade or draw that has more of a turning effect than a sweeping effect.....pick a target right of your intended target for a draw, line up to it normal, aim club face in the same relations as mentioned above and take a normal swing....same for a turning fade or power fade.
  10. Yes, lightweight is def the direction they went. As far as a 15 way top....the extra chamber is probably for an umbrella/ball retriever. I believe the SM tour series has a seperate compartment for the putter as well....kind of a nice feature. Both companies are good at what they do. When I bought that Wedgē OGIO bag though.....I felt like it was made for me, I felt like a pro. I will try the tour series here in a few months. Just spent my last bit of extra funds on a nike method mod 90 putter....gorgeous!! But that's a whole new subject. I will keep you posted when I get the SM tour series!! Thanks guys!
  11. It could be I guess, thing I don't get is why make a lightweight bag for 280$? Don't get me wrong OGIO is a good company and very innovative but it's just the way of the new world I guess....make things cheaper....charge more $$. The Tour series bag from sun mountain does something for me in the looks department and from everything I've read it seems to be durable...probably gonna go with it.
  12. I bought an Ogio wedgē cart bag in 08....it's now starting to fall apart but overall it was a great bag for 60+ rounds per year....i bought another Ogio in 2011 when I thought I'd be needing one and it is not the same quality as the Wedgē....more expensive but too light of a material....looking into getting a Sun mountain tour series bag but not sure....they look top end....sad about Ogio....totally was into em until I spent 280$ on a bag that just didn't do much for me. It's as if they got lazy
