I live in Pullman but just spent two weeks with my family in TN/KY, and I got to play a few rounds of golf with my brother, who's a golfer. I'm new to golf, but I had a lot of fun playing. Looking forward to becoming a part of the community here.

how to get rid of first tee gitters during tournament?

I'd say Laphroaig, but good enough. I'm so new that I get nervous with anyone playing through, let alone in a tournament. -
From the tee to the hole. If I had to pick one, though, it would be using any wedge. For the life of me I can't hit with one. I did hole a fluke 20 yarder, but that was definitely luck. I need to take lessons.

I'm new to the game so I've never seen anything like this, but had a similar feeling myself last week when I couldn't hit for my life. I bought a used Taylormade R580 XD and my slice is horrific. I quit on the 6th hole and went and shot two buckets on the driving range.
