  1. I bought the i20 9.5 w/707D S flex because I was totally discussed with the wimpy X-stiff "Blue Board" by Titleist in my 909 D3 (which BTW I love). The Ping i20 looks great at address, only outdone by its' performance. Particulars: SS 106-110 (little wind in my face), spin typically 2200 to 2500, launch 8 to 10* which is fine for me (this is with the i20)! I have a slow take away but can get hurried in transition, thus causing all kinds of issues, duh! My ball can get stupid when the spin goes to 3500 like with my old Titleist 909 shaft and others like it. Back to the Ping, I have read the above articles and come to one conclusion, lessons vs disc a club and shaft! The i20 is IMO as good as it gets... I saw no improvements at the Ping fit center with the i25. My club set up is neutral or square so the i20 has no drawbacks for me, then comes the retrofit of the 707D S to current stock shaft offerings in the i25. Well the 707D S was better feeling, very stable at impact and shot producing, than the current i25 offerings in my hands! OK, the Titleist, reloaded it with the Rombax 6V05 tour X-stiff, now it is fixed, end of discussion, game on! Unbelievable feel, only issue, shaft cost as much as club, just like the Graphite Design AD DI 6S. Yes, you can fix any good head, but for an honest stock offering, the i20 is quite the little sleeper! The 707 D stiff is not as smooth as the Rombax 6V05 or the AD DI, but "not" bad at all and my performance is at its' peak with this club in its' stock 707 D setup; buy this thing, learn to hit it, "all shine on!" Now all I need to do is find a course that has an architect that put the greens where my excellent shots land!
