  1. All the lessons we took for the video were with a 7 Iron, I think the reason being that is the club Nick was using, I may be wrong but that is what I believe.
  2. Since going to see them my short game (pitching, chipping & putting) has improved but the rest of my game has got worse I was playing to a low 16, shooting mid to low 80's now I'm shooting mid to low 90's and club handicap has gone up t0 17.4.
  3. Ok I think I got it right now, here is the video analysis of my golf swing taken at the Nick Faldo Golf Institute in Orlando last month. There are one or two things the instructor said that I disagree with but take a look and let me know what you guys (& girls) think. Maybe you might be able to pick up a few tips for yourself. 4. I highly recomend http://www.golfscorerecorder.com this program is the best, you can keep a GHIN or USGA handicap set up tounaments etc, you just input courses and then put your scores in, superb!!! Can't remember how much I paid but had it for years and works great. Mike
  5. I had the same thing, got myself some Cobras, played the ball about one ball back in my stance and hey presto! never looked back since LOL
  6. I have a similar problem, I can hit my 7-sw as straight as an arrow with relative consistancy but my 5&6 iron are a different story, I consistantly hit them about five-ten yards right of target. I'm not sure why, when I find out I will let you know!
  7. I am having the same problems, I went to the Nick Faldo Golf Institute in Orlando last month and basically my game has now gone to pieces. They said that I was over rotating my shoulders bringing the club too far inside, my grip and set up was prety muck OK apart from my shaft was leaning forward down target line. So, have been working on not over rotating my shoulders and keeping the shaft upright at address and now I can't break 90 (was shooting mid to low 80's before) I was playing to a steady 16.4 handicap. I live on a golf course, so every evening (weather permitting) I go out and practice but I just don't seem to be able to nail it down They video your lessons and send them to you as a WMV video file for future referance, If I can work out how to post the WMV video file I will put the on for you all to see, maybe some of you can take on board some of the info and maybe give some more tips for me. Mike
  8. I went to the Nick Faldo Golf Institute in Orlando last month, they concentrate more on the short game on their two day school. One of the things they showed me was to take shorter (half to three quarter) swings with the ball slightly forward and concentrate on your wrist action through impact and turning your body to face target after impact. I use three wedges (48, 54 & 56 degree) and use the same shot with each club. I hope this helps. My long game has gone to pieces now though LOL. Mike
