Ping i20 stock shaft question

The common thread over the years of buying clubs seems to be "Buy the Demo" because the new one never lives up to the Demo. Could it be that Club makers are Tuning/Puring the Demo shafts or even worse putting a high grade shaft in the same livery as the standard shaft! I have the G25 3 wood with TFC 189Fstiff, I can smash it, stroke it. Swing it smooth, and chip it. Just the best club I have ever purchased. So I tried the G25 Driver TFC 189D, I cannot get it to work for me at all. So now I am checking out the I20 707D. Later
