  1. Yep, the 9 wood is shorter than the 7. Why should I take out the 3 an 4? Are you saying to take those out, and put in the 7, and 9 wood to replace them? Is it because they are easier to hit? Sorry for all the questions, Im such a beginner.
  2. Im pretty excited right now. I just got my first "real" set of irons. I got the older TaylorMade Burner Bubble irons from a local golfer near me for a great price. They were used, but I can hardly tell. I got irons 3-9, pw,sw, and lw. I also have a set of drivers and woods. Anyways my question is: awhile ago I got golf clubs "blindly". I didnt really know what I was doing. But I have two clubs that Im debating if I need to bring golfing with me. One of them says its a 9, it is shaped like a wood, and on the front of the head it has a wedge type shape to it. I dont really know how to explain it. But is there a "9 wood"? And the other club says its a 7, 22 degree trouble wood. What are these clubs used for? And with the new set do I need them?
  3. Ive been going back and forth with deciding what clubs to buy. I figured since Im a beginner I could buy some used clubs from someone. I got a great offer to get the old burner bubble irons for $50, 3-9 irons, pw, lw, sw. They have been used for 2 rounds of golf. Only thing that worried me is that they are an older model, but I was still gonna get them. Now the problem is that I have found someone with a set of TaylorMade 320 irons 3-9, and pw for $150. They are pretty much new. I dont know what I should get. The 320s are a newer model, but the burner bubbles are for a better price, and are oversized. What set do you guys think I should get?
  4. Haha alright thanks guys. I am planning on regripping them. I just didnt know if they were too old?
  5. I actually got the offer from somebody who lives really close to be who has two sets of clubs, and doesnt need the other. He said I can have it for $50. Used for 2 rounds, and thats it. no driver just 3-9, pw, sw, lw.
  6. I recently got an offer to get these for a really cheap price. It is the Taylor Made burner oversized irons with the bubble shafts. I would be getting 3-9 irons and pw, lw, sw. Im pretty much a complete beginner. So would this be a good buy? I know taylor made is a good brand. But for a beginner would this be good? The clubs have been used for 2 rounds of golfing. What do you think?
  7. Sounds good. Hopefully today I will get an email back from the person today who has the taylor mades. I also got an email from somone who has tommy armours(dont know what model) for $105
  8. Yea thats what I want t do,but Im guessing Im not the only person who has contacted this person about these clubs. So in case they are sold, wold the Adams be another good choice?
  9. I used to golf awhile ago, and never really got an actual set. I just collected irons, and got a driver set. Now after a few years of not golfing, I want to get back in it. I figured I would buy a used iron set, and if I get serious about it then eventually I would upgrade. So I have got a lot of offers on sets, but I picked out a couple that I figured might be good sets. They are: Rams(dont know what edition) 1,3,5 wood3-pw for $125 Adams RPM Irons 4-9 and gw, sw, pw with winn Xi7 grips for $130 Taylor Made RAC OS Irons, and nike ignite putter all for $150, but I think if I didnt want the putter it would be $100 Im guess the Taylor Mades would be the best by far. And I really would like them, but I dont know if I will because just like me everyone else might want them just as bad. Can anyone help with my decision? And give me any advice.
