  1. Played 18 for the second time after golf season ended for high school with my dad today and shot a 52/50 - 102, which is my lowest score to date. I should be under 100 next week. Just started golfing about 6 months ago and my first tournament I shot a 136, and the last with a 105. Stopped hitting fat shots completely but still manage to blade them from time to time which keeps my score up. Need to practice hitting my irons consistently; a nice smooth swing usually works. Changed my stance with my driver yesterday and seemed to help. Also fixed my grip and got a smaller, tighter fitting glove which helped too. Another bucket and 9 holes tomorrow and hopefully I'll be under 50.
  2. A lot of my friends urged me to play golf this year, so I decided to join the team. I've been wanting to play for a while but haven't had the chance. My dad helps me with my swing as I hit balls in the back yard, and I'm getting lessons here soon. So for right now I'd like to find a set of clubs to call my own. I'm looking for something in the $200 range. I've almost narrowed it down to a couple, but I'd like your guys' opinion. TIA
