  1. I didn't have but $230 in the Adams set. I think it will be easier to resale these pings if need be.
  2. My Adams Idea Tech V4 4-5-6 hybrid 7-GW for HIS 3-SW Ping Eye 2 black dots.
  3. Bump to find one that's affordable.
  4. At the moment I'm hitting a Versus VsII 9* with a Fujikura Fuel 65g stiff shaft. About 44" if i remember correctly and push it out to about 260-270 regularly but absolutely crapped on my driver by about 25-30 yards with a buddy's Cleveland Hi Bore XLS 9.5*.
  5. Well, I've hit a lot of the new stuff and I just can't get the distance or accuracy as I have with the Nike Str8 fit sq, the Cleveland Hi bore, and a couple other of the squares. Plus, the sound is beautiful
  6. Any suggestions or anyone have one?
  7. River Bend GC Shelby NC 48-41-89. Playing a new driver and irons, and finally got the feel of them on the back. Felt really good to hit the ball well. Had 40 putts. That wasn't so good.
  8. Shot 41-40 today. Felt really good today, and the back 9 (second 9 on a 9 hole course) wad shot with only irons.
  9. Moe Norman is dang near identical to what I was doing.
  10. The thing that's baking nee is that I never once looked at the ball when I took the swings that went dead straight.
  11. At the range today, I tried something new with my driver since I've been slicing it really bad. When I first started playing, I teed it up dead in the middle of my stance and hit it straight. I mean dead straight. I changed to my front your because that's "what I was supposed to do". So today, I teed the ball up front, but set up like it was teed in the middle of my stance. I kept my eyes on the "ball" on the middle of my stance, and took a swing and hit an absolute bomb. I did this 5 more times in a row. Any time I focused on the ball, slice. What an I missing?
  12. Just left a lesson. My FIRST lesson ever. He said that the improvement he saw in one lesson, was what he normally sees in 6 months of 2x a week. I went from no divot, or worse (all different directions) to hitting my 7i about 150-160 with less than a 3/4 swing. Straight as well. Time to put in some work. He also said he feels my clubs are a touch short as well. I'm 2" taller than standard at 37".
  13. I saw a DVD, no drill! Ha!
  14. Well, the general consensus is that I am a damn idiot anyways. So, I guess that's what we're goin with.
  15. I am right handed, but oddly enough I have a left handed set of clubs I play around with from time to time. I can hit the piss out of my practice balls (wiffle or foam) but put a real ball on front and I go silly.
  16. That would be exactly it. I felt like my hips were engaged, but I'll be Danes if I didn't hit a BOMB damned near 30-50 yards left of where I was aiming. Felt good off the face and all!
  17. I have a lesson set up for Thursday with the local teaching Pro. I set it up after hitting my driver today the way described in iasacs' thread "hitting up or down with the driver." I hit my driver high and far with a baby fade today, and was very happy. The ones I came OTT I pulled dead straight, way left of the target. I still can't take a do it with my irons or hit them in the general are of which I'm aiming.
  18. I feel if I can get an 8 iron or lower in my hand I'm ok, but 3-7 irons I suck! Very rarely do I take a divot, ever. Idk what my problem is but it's a lot of thin shots, and bad fades/slices.
  19. Hi to everyone. My name is James, and I am a new, well kinda new, golfer. I've had an interest in golf for most of my life, but never got serious about it. I'm from a little town called Shelby, about 40 miles west of Charlotte and the town is full of pretty good golf. Not sure of my handicap, but sure it's probably the highest allowed haha. I feel in about the only golfer in America that has to tee the ball up almost dead in the middle of my stance in order to hit it straight, I can't take a correct divot if my life depended on it, and I can 3 putt from 5 ft and feel it's an accomplishment. Looking forward to learning more about how to play this silly game, and hopefully before I'm through become a scratch golfer.
