Why did you switch to the X22s? Man I can't wait to get these things I hope it doesn't take long to ship them out...

Hey guys, I just ordered a set of G5s (3-9i, already have wedges that I like) for just under $400, black dot with AWT steel shafts and Ping 703 grips (aqua color code). How many here use these clubs? There hasn't been too many recent posts here on the G5s. I ordered them online because there was a pretty good special on them. I'll likely get them fitted sometime this summer when I get a chance. I ordered using my specs from Ping's Webfit. I've hit these clubs before and really like how easy they are to use, as I don't normally have the time to golf as much as I'd like to. Anyway, who here is using these irons?

Anyone here ever use the Volvik crystal balls? Very soft feel. Maxfli Noodle Ice is pretty much the same thing... Interesting golf balls.

Make sure you are set up correctly and focus on not moving your head at all during the swing. Since you pop it up when you tee it higher, tee the ball so it sits at the middle of the clubface.

I use a set of old King Cobra II irons. I like them a lot actually...

Hit a light 7 iron today from about 150 out. The pin was near the front of the green. I hit a good shot, the ball bounced on the fringe, hopped, and dropped right in the hole. Shouldv'e been a double eagle on a short par 5 but I had to punch out from some trees on my 2nd shot...
