  1. They do at that.
  2. Wow, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks so much ganjagolfer . How could've I missed it. Sure thing, I'll start packing my bags immediately. It'll probably take me a little time to sell my house. On second thought, I'll just leave it empty. I don't have British citizenship but that won't matter will it? If I take a copy of your post with me I'm sure British immigration will understand. Any suggestions which part of England I should head for??
  3. Me thinks the 'R' word is thrown around a little too freely in many of these discussions threads. Much more interested in the 'G' word.
  4. I think you're onto something -> black disco ball pants + golf sandals = s*xy beast.
  5. The rest of us may have 'trust issues' with that one. The 'Fashion Police' around your way may have a zero tolerance policy!!
  6. I thought only God could hit a 1 iron?
  7. Even if the prognosis is grim (hopefully not), I hope he makes one of his miraculous recoveries.
  8. No problems here Harry Longshanks . I agree with what you've said. Even if I didn't .... "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." (Voltaire).
  9. .... and a low-slung capri loin cloth for ClairefromClare ??
  10. Oh no, we have the first exception to the new general rule -> loin cloths are permissible in summer rather than a full bearskin.
  11. When I find a tartan bear, I'll let you know.
  12. Hmmm, too much disagreement over such a simple concept as a dress standard. If I vote for bear skins & loin cloths, will someone support me??
  13. Harry, out of genuine concern, I recommend a safety harness when plunging the toilet, lest some misadventure causes your plunging into the toilet.
  14. Mmmm ... low-slung capri pants ... Stop teasing us poor male golfers or I'll tell Rory about your belt.
  15. I'm only a mere male. Give me some lattitude.
  16. Excellent point made. Couldn't agree more. Hope your target audience takes note.
  17. What about "tight black capri pants"?? [for those that don't know what this means, refer to the discussion thread about Golf shoes ]
  18. [very funny] Correct!!
  19. Me too ... 'dangerous to health' type spontaneous laughter. But isn't he a Euro PGA player now? "Nouvelle Euro Trash" Oui?? I'll have to look for that option next time I'm in the states. Thanks Harry. Commonly known as a 'singlet' over here. We do understand your long-form description though. Don't know if too many wife-beaters wear them in Oz. They generally don't wear shirts, mostly handcuffs.
  20. Harry, the fashion term "wife-beater" hasn't crossed the Pacific yet. Are you able to fill us Aussies in?
  21. Hands off Harry!! I saw her first. It was the eyes I tell you, the eyes did it for me!!!
  22. I suppose we're all looking for some sort of 'golfing nirvana'; a course devoid of snobs, the uncouth & the stupid. I try not to get overly concerned about the snobs because if 'ignorance is bliss' they're obviously in a very blissful state & a bit like a sleepwalker, I don't want to snap them out of it. I just let them wander around in their own little world. The uncouth & the stupid tend to annoy me a tad more than the "snobius maximus"; although by definition I think to qualify as a snob one would need a large measure of stupidity as well. Unfortunately, golfing nirvana doesn't exist, so most of us just look for a pleasant day out. It seems that the same ingredients make for a pleasant round; good pace of play, courtesy, plug marks/divots repaired, no fivesomes & not being hit up on. Have I missed anything?
  23. Do you wear your red ones on Sunday like Tiger or your pink ones like Paula Creamer??
  24. Good to see that no one has selected 'golf sandals'. What gives with those?? I know Crocs do them but puh-lease !!!
  25. Understand your point ClairefromClare . My suggestion is to keep your eye out for reductions. That's what I did & got a great deal on an end of season model. Now I'm hooked with my Eccos. Quality, quality, quality. To be fair, I do concede that Footjoys are a quality shoe also.
