    Sponsorship

That's brilliant. Could you tell me how he applied as I am very interested!

    Sponsorship

I play on the UK rookie tour - I was thinking this could be a way to expand the awareness of the sponsors products.

    Sponsorship

I'm 14 - have a handicap of 17 and have been playing for almost 2 years - any point in me applying for a sponsorship or am I wasting my time? Honesty would be preferred to false hope, however if you know any golf companies that would like to sponsor a desperate kid a recomondation would be appreciated
  5. I play off 17. Usually two put ( with my left hand on top and right on bottom) however struggle to make the long putts. I feel a lot more in control with my hands the other way round for long putts however for short putts I feel quite out of control. What should I do?
  6. My friend and I have taken a new interest in golf trick shots. We have made various videos of hitting balls of eachothers body parts, of which some have gone "viral". We have run out of ideas of what we could do and any ORIGINAL ideas would be appreciated. Preferably we would like to do something fun but not stupid so any ideas? If you are interested in viewing our video that we made its on the Instagram page of Golfgrinders. Scroll down a bit and it's the video of me hitting a golf ball out of his mouth. #doesntendwell
  7. Last weekend I got off to a great start but after I double bogeyed a hole I completely lost it. Does anyone have any tips on how to remain focused after shooting a bad hole.
  8. I'm 14 and have been playing for about a year and a half and have a handicap of 17. There are a few players that are younger than me who are better however they have been playing since a very young age. If I were to dedicate all my spare time to golf would it be possible to turn pro? Bare in mind next year I will have GCSE's and then after that I will have my A levels so I will need to spend the majority of my time studying. Please give your honest opinions.
  9. Hey. My father and i have a competition next weekend, I believe it is foursomes alternate shots. Last year we came dead last however this year we are looking at coming near the top of the table ( abitious I know). Does anyone have any tips or tactics as we have a £50 bet running with a rival family and I wouldn't mind a new pair of golf shoes
  10. Thank youv everyone for the advice. It is really appreciated. I will look into gym work and also course management in order to improve my game. I will take all points into consideration and again thanks.
  11. HOWEVER if you club shafts are made of graphite, after hitting the ground a lot it is possible that the lower part of the shaft may crack, and if not treated early on, could result in your shaft snapping
  12. @dkolo @shorty thanks. Do you think going to the gym ( not excessively) and working on strength in my arms will help my golf game or is it just a waiting game until I grow taller?
  13. Hi I am 14 and have been playing for about a year and a half. I have cut my handicap down to seventeen but cant seem to get any lower. I am quite small and am wondering weather my size means I can't get onto the green on my second shot sometimes on par 4's or that I just need to work on my technique. Has this happend to anyone and does anyone have any tips on how to get my handicap down any lower?
  14. The clubs seem quite old and used, but as a beginner they should be fine. However they do look like quite a challenging set of clubs to use for someone who has just started, so in my opinion I would pick up a beginners set that can come as cheap as $150
