  1. 3 to pitch
  2. I have a set of Taylormade Rac LT 2005 verison The set is in great condition... used very little the badge fell off of two of the irons... Standard L/L T-step 110 stiff Asking $180
  3. Have a set of Mizuno MX-100 4 and 5 hybrid 6-G R300 shaft Standard L/L Asking $200 only thing that is bad about this is that I lost one of the head cover to the hybrid... Great set of sticks...
  4. Lets see... First picked up a club when I was 30, now almost 33 First time out shot a 140, could not even hit the ball. I remember standing on the FRIST TEE for the first time... 8 of us total 2 groups of 4. I was the last one to hit, I took 5 swings and miss, and I remember some of the guys just started to leave the tee box and said forget it. That was when I took the game serious and vow to kick thier butts. Break 100 It took me about 4 months to break 100 Jan 1, 2009 Break 90 Feb 15, 2009 Break 80 April 11, 2010 This is going into my third year of golf and I am a low 80's shooter, with breaking 80 twice with a 78 and 79. I hope that I get better as time goes on, Some things I learn to help me shoot lower scores. 1. Don't need to hit driver every hole. 2. All you got to do is two putt, GIR means par, miss the green Bogey, you can live with that then your going to shoot better scores. 3. Don't care about what the next person is shooting or what club they are using, use what YOU PLAY BEST, and USE YOUR SHOT. 4. When in trouble punch out and take your bogey. 5. When in the sand, just get it onto the green, dont care where as long as it is out of the sand and you are putting. (Putting gives you a chance to save par, hitting another sand shot does not.) These tips here have really helped me play better then my partners.
  5. Forgot to mention... they do have two PGA Golf Instructor (free lessons) there and do have a DEMO Area for hitting... they also have a Main Stage for Seminars... which is really good. I enjoy the show alot and plan on attending...
  6. First time was last year. My take on it... just a big swap meet... like a flea market just that it is just all GOLF STUFF you can find good deals on clubs and balls and everything in between. They have some seminars which is good, and also some golfing contest. (long drive, long putt and hole in one) Bring some cash to buy all the things you think might improve your game. Going to be looking for a cheap 5 hybrid and some hand picked PRO V1. Hope that helps.
  7. Well let's just start this out... Front nine, driver was not too bad, irons were okay. Shot +11 on the front... could not even play boogey golf... (just a little over a year of playing golf) Then something crazy happen... I decided to play my ball position on the back 9 more in the middle and leave my club about 1 to 1.5 inches away from the ball so I can hold my release longer... Bang!!! Shot the best 9 ever!!! 1 over, got all my ups and down besides 1 hole and 3 putted once. Also got a Birdie. That feeling was great shooting 11 in the front and 1 in the back for a score of 84... I should of broke 80 but my front dragged me down... but I kept my chin up and it was a great back nine... Just wanted to share with you guys...
  8. Does that mean I am a time bomb waiting to shoot Par or under...
  9. I second this... you can get them used for about $60-70 and they are stupid easy to hit and can be worked easliy Got mine off the bay for $65 shipped with a GD Persihing shaft and it is my money club when my driver does not want to behave...
  10. Any southeast PA scratch golfer around??? If so PM me... there is a golf tournament if you are interested?
  11. Wondering what is the safest go to shot off the tee, a power fade or a draw. Which one and why? I am thinking a power fade for me, because the draw does not always happen.

    3 wood help

I have a 07 burner 3 wood 15* goes about 220-230 always short on par 5 about 15-20 yards of the green. Was thinking about getting a strong 3 wood Nike Sumo2 13* Regular and try to gain an extra 15-20 yards. Is this possible because of the loft and flex to get that extra 15-20 yards to reach the green in two on par 5. did or does anyone see any increase in distance from going from a 15* stiff to a 13* regular in yardage increase... thanks all
  13. I have been addressing my shots with all my clubs with a toe up and giving me a nice flight with a little 5 yard draw at the end. Does anyone else do this...? Is this the correct way you should address and setup to hit a shot... or should you lay the bottome of the club flat on the ground? thanks all
  14. I was in the same shoe a month ago. It was between the Cleveland CG14 or Vokey's I went witht he CG14 and have no regrets... I demo both the 52* at Golf Galaxy... The CG14 felt the best to me and felt great, on miss hits it still went out there. The Vokey's are nice but was to heavy for me... (which I really really wanted to buy the Vokey's) and on miss hits... they were not forgiving for me. Your best bet is to go to the store and tape up both of the two wedges and swing away... By the way I got the CG14 in black peral 52* and 58* was thinking about ditching my MP-60 Pitching wedge and getting a 46* CG14... time will tell
  15. I use to be short... but somehow... within the month my distence has gotten better... and here is the new stat... Driver: 240-260 3 wood: 225 4 hybird: 185-200 3 iron: 195-220 4 iron: 185-195 5 iron: 175-185 6 iron: 160-170 7 iron: 150-160 8 iron: 140-150 9 iron: 135-140 P wedge: 120-125 52* wedge: 100-115 58* wedge: 75-100
