Sometimes I'll play better when I play with people better than me, I think it's because I usually ask advice for how I should play a hole and usually the better players have better advice.

Yeah, I know what your saying. I was saying a general review based on what you know of the clubs. Just something fun to do nothing serious.

I actually had a 3H heavenwood, but I preferred my regular iron much more so I kept it.

This thread is to rate each others equipment based on our signature. Lets do a 1-10 system, 10 being the best and feel free to give an explanation. I'll start with rating my own equipment, then someone rate mine, and then someone rate the last person and so on. I'll rate my equipment 6 out of 10 because I mainly have beginner clubs as I'm trying to work on my basics and what not.

So do you recommend just working on one thing a day? So maybe driving one day, then pitching another. What are something I can mix together? My gf bought me a golf key with 34 tokens on it so I have a lot of practice I can get in.

Oh ok thanks, I didn't now about ESC, I'll be using that as a basis from my scoring from now on.

I'm pretty new to golf (6 months) so of course I have games where I do fairly well and games where I do horribly. When you guys score do you ever stop on trying to finish a hole ever? Sometimes when I'm doing extremely horrible on a hole, maybe I lose my ball or mishit a couple times or etc I'll be +6 or something for just one hole. If this happens to you do you keep on trying to finish a hole no matter what? Or do you stop at a certain point. This is assuming there isn't a group behind you waiting for you to stop sucking so they can tee off.

anyone have anything negative to say about these before i get them? and the guy that recommended the 'softie' grip, could you possibly link me? I tried to look for the grip but couldn't find it. Is it under another name?

I was reading that the Sharpro dual grips are for someone wearing one glove. How is the feel with no gloves?

I'm looking to re-grip all of my irons. What is a cheap grip reliable to buy for all my irons, I don't wear a glove if that matters. I've been looking at some Sharpro Dualcord velvet grips, but I read online they deteriorate pretty fast, anyone have any experience with these?

where do you guys get the images for your signature? the images that show what clubs you use, like if you have a callaway driver you'll have that logo pic... are there images on this forums somewhere or did you guys upload them yourself?

i'm right handed and start on the left and let the ball hook. I guess I could try standing on the far right but i'm thinking i'd have to change my throw. Either way these wet lanes dont hook, you ball will just glide on this stuff! I talk to some of the people at this place that have their ball hook so much and they all have a massive weight inside the ball to make it hook. I have a weight in mine but the placement of it is different. I was thinking of getting my ball redrilled, does that ruin the ball at all? filling up the old holes and drilling new ones.

I actually hate the base lanes in VA... they are all wet lanes so my ball doesn't hook correctly. I have to throw my ball extremely slow to get it to hook!!! I love amf dry lanes!

I walked 9 today for only $5.25!!!!!!! I shot pretty horribly, granted it was extremely cold. I haven't played in a while... shot 56 lol. I did birdie the 9th hole via 20 foot pitch!

He said it cost $75 for the window guy to come out there and $90 for the window replacement and instillation. No other updates so far, just waiting. I'm probably moving to DC soon so I'll be MIA lol, but of course if I'm sued I'd have to come back.

nice good stuff man. I would think people that good in their sport would want to interact with people similar to them, ie forum. I'm pretty up there in wrestling and brazillian jiujitsu and I am apart of one of those forums.
