  1. That worries me about buying online then. I don't want faulty clubs... I am going up to get fitted tomorrow. I'll see what kind of inexpensive sets they have.
  2. i'll look into the bridgestones for sure. uttexas how do you like your a2's
  3. I'd say my swing is pretty consistent. As far as a fitting, I feel it needs to be more consistent for that
  4. I basically want to add distance and have a little more spin. My current irons i hit a decent distance but they don't get much spin
  5. anyone? I really need advice
  6. Hey, I just need a little advice. I am a beginner, just started in july. I was using some hand me downs, then for my birthday I got a really inexpensive starter set. Once I got used to those clubs my scores came down drastically. I practice all the time and really care. I hit my irons high and straight. I am looking to invest in some better irons and was wondering what sets are best for a beginner. I'm looking to spend under 350. I have a few sets i was looking at. they are adams rpm, adams a2, mizuno mx-19 , cobra cxi and cobra fp. any suggestions?
  7. this may go for best sequence on a hole. It was a 375yd dogleg right par 4. A lake is off to the right as well, fairway runs to left of lake, elevated tee. I hit my 5 iron to lay it up, it goes into the water. Take a drop, about 155 yds out. I hit my 7 iron the ball hits the pin and lands 2 inches from hole. Tapped it in for par. Par after having to take a drop sounds good to me
  8. I just started golfing in July of this year and I really do prefer to walk. When I started I was using a borrowed cart bag from my fiances uncle. I choose to walk everytime.....unless it's cold out. Last sunday I played and it was 40 degrees and windy. We have cart covers and heaters for the winter. It's nice then. I did read somewhere (I believe golf digest) that a group from sweden did a study about golfers who walked. The generally live an average of 5 yrs more than people who ride. I think this bodes well for me then
  9. I build interior doors for a decent size Millwork in cincinnati
