  1. I'm currently using some older clubs and I'm starting to upgrade a bit at a time. My 4-6 irons are bybrids. I replaced my 3 wood and I'm looking at a 5 wood, but where does a rescue club fit in? Is it closer to a 7 wood, 3 iron hybrid, or something else? There are a lot more categories than there used to be and I'm thinking that some of these might begin to overlap. In the past I have used a 5 or 7 wood as a type of rescue club, but that was before the hybrid irons. Help me understand the differences in these clubs! Thanks!

  3. I'm in the market for a new 3 wood and I'm really interested in the Cleveland Classic XL 3 Wood. No matter where I look, it seems like this club is only available in a stiff flex. I normally play with regular flex shafts and I don't know if I have ever used a stiff shaft before. I have a chance to buy this club for a great price until Sunday night. (May 31st). But it's only available in a stiff flex. I haven't had my swing speed checked, but I'm a high handicap golfer and I would bet that my swing speed is no better than average. I'm not sure if this club was sold primarily in a stiff flex, or if all the regular shafts have been sold and the stiff shafts are all that is left now. (This club was first sold in 2013.) I don't honestly know much about flex other than what I have read, so I'm not sure if I should buy this club, or search for a different club altogether that can be found in a regular flex. I could use some advice from people who understand the difference.
