  1. 1. Complete the birdie challenge again on my home course and at least half the holes on my away course. 2. Improve the number of putts per round by 2. Putt average in 2021 was 29.5. 3. Improve my green in regulations from 2021 at 58%. 4. Hit the range at least 2 times a week, not counting prior to a round. 5. Have fun every time I play the game.
  2. Out playing a casual round with some friends and trying to help them with their swings when we are caught by a single. Course was full and we were going nowhere so he just couldn't play thru. He joined us and was playing the tips while we were playing the whites. He wanted to play the three of us agianst him for money. My buddies never gamble so we politely decline. It was geting late so my buddies quit on 15. Hole 16 is a dog leg left over a lake. I drop back to the tips with this guy and had the honor. I took it over the lake and had a short wedge to the green. This guy followed me and put it in the water. He teed up another ball and put it in the water. He looked at me and said he would have been had if we agreed to his bet. I just nodded yes and told him to hit his three wood down the middle. I was 2 up on him after three holes.
  3. 51 - walk and use sun mountain speed cart, I hate to ride
  4. This goes back many years to 1990 and balata golf balls. Playing a scramble tournament with the first hole being our last hole. It was a 540 yard Par 5 with a creek going across the fairway 300 yards out. I bounced the ball over the creek using the cart path that left 220 yards to the green with a tall tree 30 yards in front of the ball. Everyone tried to fade it around the tree but I told them that they could not carry the greenside bunker. With two balls in the bunker and one unplayable, I took my 1 iron and hit it to the right of the tree, drawed it over several pine trees in front of the green, over the greenside bunker and 6 feet from the hole. My buddy said it was the best shot he ever saw. I made the putt and we won the tournament by a shot.
