  1. You pick the best and the worst infomercial golf products lets see which wins. Best- The "Momentus" or the "Heavy Putter". These two seem to make sense both being heavy and ingraining the swing path. Worst- "The Perfect Club" Put it in your hands and your shots land 10 feet from the whole. Full swing from 100 yards or 250 out they seek pins. The quiet calming music in the background and the deep voice. What a combo... Yeah Right!
  2. So I go to my round today and on the range I flat out can not hit my driver. While im in the bathroom I see a article in golf digest and its a line up routine by Fred Funk. What you do is, pick a spot welll down your line like a tree and the end of the hole. You put your club head on that object and draw a line with your clubhead and follow it with your eyes to your ball and pick a spot right in front of the ball that lines up with the line, like a tall piece of grass. You then line your club up and put your body parallel to the target line and swing away. Today I hit 13/14 fairways with my driver and woods compared to a 4/14 yesturday. Have any of you tried/ do this technique? If you don't I would highly reccommend trying it.
  3. Shot a 80 today, was 4 over going into 16 and doubled out...
  4. I have a whole bunch of them but my favorite is walks. What is walks you ask? Well a game me and my friends copied off of our dads who come with their pockets loaded to the course. You dont need to much money if your a decent putter. Anyway say Adam puts the ball on the green and I think that he is going to three putt I would annouce the word Walk. He has no choice to to accept it by the way. Now if Adam were to drain his putt I would owe him the set amount of money. Say its 2$. If he 1 putts I owe him 2$. If he 2 putts then nothing happens and its a tie. If he 3 putts then he owes me 2$. everyputt after this doubles the amount, ex: 5 putts = 6 dollars. This is a great game to playand makes you really sitck you aproach shots close or else you know youll play not only in stokes but money.
  5. Shot a solid 77 or 6 over par. Had 2 doubles today because I was to agreesive. On the last 4 holes I hit 4 iron off the tee to ensure I would break 80.
  6. Alright this has never happened to me before, why is this happening? Off the tee I have always came just a little bit over the top so Ive always had a little cut. The cut started on the right side of the fairway and came back to the middle and was controllable by opening and closing the right toe. (Im left handed). Few days ago on the range I decided it was time to work on my draw. I wasent sure of the proper way to play it but I read in a golf digest that you take the club paralell in your back swing with your high hands palm facing right behind you and as you swing your same arm rolls a little closing the clubface producing a draw. I was able to control it off the tee and hit it my normal distance of 250 yards. So everything was going good off the tee. Heres the problem. When I go to hit my cut the ball draws, when I hit my long irons 3,4,5,6,7 which are urually the best part of my game I pull them way off the fairway into the bush. Im pulling everything not drawing. Something is really screwed up. Any idea what has happened here? Whats the proper way to play a cut and a draw with woods and irons. Any help would be fine because ive got 8 rounds in the next 4 days.
