I live in SE Mi. I'm pretty lucky as I've got several great courses in my backyard. Can't believe I haven't seen The Orchards on this list yet...great course. I enjoy all of the local courses in the immediate area The Orchards,Greystone, and since the new management took over Glacier Club is in top notch shape, and very, very reasonably priced. As far as destination golf...I've played a ton... I see Gull Lake mentioned above, I put together a large outing every year on the west side...and these people are top notch. Never met a more accommodating place. I'll list some of my favorites. The Dream and Nightmare(BYOB goes a long way in our group) Red hawk in Tawas The Boyne courses, although way overpriced Island Hills The Gailes is a great change of pace, and you can't beat their package deals. Fountains and Traditions at Garland Little traverse bay for its views
