  1. Hi I'm looking to buy a golf club from this website. I'm from Canada so I don't know a whole lot of golf stores but I was wondering if people have bought clubs from here or know if this is a reputable company. I've heard of rockbottomgolf, golfsmith, golf galaxy. I stumbled upon this website from one of the posts here on sandtrap. Thanks
  2. I can't seem to get any trajectory from my driver and woods. I find that I'm topping the ball most of the time. I don't tee it high at all, I've been tinkering with the height of my tee on the field and I get the same result. I lose a lot of yardage from the tee because the ball doesn't stay up in the air long enough and I have to depend on my irons to take me the rest of the way. After contact the ball goes up in the air barely, then dives and cuts to the left. I've tried alternating the ball position and the aforementioned tee heights. Has anyone else encountered this? BTW, I do not have this problem with my irons.
  3. Great bag. I own it myself. Light as a feather.
  4. Title pretty much speaks for itself. What are the main causes that a ball hooks to the left? Is it inside-outside swing? Arms are coming in too fast before the hips? Wrists are rotating on the upswing?
  5. i know that they rust. but i was surprised to see they rusted after 3 rounds of golf.
  6. I just bought my 52 and 56 a few weeks ago. Played a few rounds already, noticing some rust building up. Anyone else experienced this with their 588 DSG this quickly? Will the rust affect my play? I've heard it creates more spin, but has this been actually proven?
  7. thanks for the tips! im going to try this next time i visit the driving range. what about weight distribution? i was told to put 40/60 (left/right) and when i make the downswing that more weight should be put on the right leg so there is 30/70.
  8. I have no problems with my irons. I hit a slight draw. I just have no idea how to hit a driver. I dont know the mechanics. Its obviously different from the iron. I need help lol I know most people here will say take lessons. I completely agree, but I would like to get an idea of how you guys set up your driver.
  9. Hi, I have a huge problem with my driver and woods. Whenever I use the driver, my ball flight is very low. Almost immediately touches the ground or hangs in the air for a little bit. On top of that, my ball starts right or straight and turns left sharply. I've been looking at some videos, but was wondering if somebody can add some insight. I place the club in the middle of my stance. The ball lined to the inside edge of my left foot. 40/60 weight distribution (left/right). The driver swing is more dependent on my right foot, but I'm not sure how to swing. Any help would be great!
  10. maybe that only applies to my local golf course store. they come in a combo set with 3 and 4 hybrids
  11. I don't slice the ball anymore. My recent rounds of golf, I've found I draw the ball most of the time and hook here and there. The local golf store here sells the X-20 Steel for 599.99, whereas the Tour Irons are 699.99. I'm also looking at other alternatives such as, Mizuno MX-100 or Adams A3OS. I've tried hitting hybrids and I can say with certainty that I enjoy hitting them. I can hit my long irons but not all that consistent. Correct me if I'm wrong, the regular x-20 comes with 3h and 4h hybrids?
  12. Does anybody know the difference between the Tour Irons and the Regular ones? Aside from the obvious looks. Are Tour Irons any different in shaft flex, or forgiveness. It's about a hundred dollar difference. I've tried out the Regular X-20s but I was afraid the Tour Irons were for more low handicap players.
  13. I guess I should clarify. Pitching wedges counts as one of your wedges for this poll
  14. I was just wondering how many wedges you all carry. How many of you guys carry lob wedges 60 degrees or more. Should I keep 3 wedges? I don't particularly hit my woods that well, and I'm decent with my 3 iron. Thinking of adding a lob wedge in place of my 5 wood. Whenever I'm 50 yards or less, I always seem to carry my ball past the hole with my SW. That's why I'm asking...
  15. wearing a cotton t-shirt defeats the purpose of buying a climate shirt
