  1. I'm still rockin the king cobra oversized irons. I still have the original metal shafts and old tour style hand grips. I still like them. I have checked out the new irons and I am not that impressed. I don't think you will gain any by buying new ones, except they will look a little cooler. And your wallet will be a little lighter.
  2. I found a set on ebay, comes with a hybrid and everything. I hope it bolts on to a golf cart.
  3. Do they even make them for a 3 year old? He is a little dude that has to do everything I do. please help??? I don't want to buy him plastic fisher price junk, some real clubs. Or should I just cut about 2 feet off of some old irons and a putter?
  4. Is it allowed to go golfing with just my 3 year old on a golf course with no one else in my group? The boy just wants to cruise around in the cart and do a little putting? Or do golf courses frown upon this? Am I taking up a tee time for other golfers? Will they make me pay a penalty?
  5. What loft do you have or how many hybrids do you have and what lofts? I was thinking on getting one with a 24 loft? How far does an average hit go with a 24 loft, 21 loft, 27 loft, 18 loft, etc...???
  6. No those diablo hybrid with the dual runners with the red on the bottem, they reduce surface area with the ground.
  7. Oh I see. I notice when I swing forward, my left wrists locks up for more cranking power and maybe it isn't coming around. Yes I am a righty. What the heck is a shank? I hope thats not a bad word?
  8. Sweet, I was worried I would look antique with my old king cobra irons. I have had them since 1990. Just started golfing again. I just see alot of people with the other graphite ones. When I was 15 I bought these king cobra irons and the golf pro at the golf course told me to get the metal one, He thought I would break the other ones. these are antiques 19 year old irons. Maybe I should upgrade? What irons to get? Callaway?
  9. I'm not up on all the golf words such as hooking but I know what a slice is( curves to the right) I think. What is it if you hit it to the left a shank? or is that a hook? But anyways, I have a couple of other callaways( biggest big bertha, hawkeye VFT). I know these are old clubs. But my point is they are both neutral and I seem to hit them 4 times out of 10 to the right(slice). But this new diablo hits straight it is a draw 10*. Maybe its all in my head but it works for me. I seem to never hit it left. When I was a teenager I never had a slice problem but now it is working better. I don't know if its the longer length of the new club or maybe I'm standing different.
  10. I would like to buy a new putter. Which putters work for you? Anything to look for in a putter?
  11. I like metal shafts on my irons. I like the stiffness to them. The newer shafts seem to feel like they are flopping around to much for me.
  12. Has technology advanced or has it looked back and is using ideas from the past. My old king cobra 5 wood looks like the new callaway hybrid. It has the same little runners on the bottem. I have just gotten back into golf. I have not swung a club in 3 years.
  13. I just picked up my new driver that I bought on ebay for next to nothing. It is a Big Bertha Diablo, stiff shaft and it is a draw. I developed a slight slice and now it has straightened it out. Very happy with it and it sounds great when I hit the ball. I will never buy another club in a store, ebay from here on out.
  14. the sellers name is golfetail, they are located in the U.S. I think Maine. They seem to sell all brands and anything to do with golf.
  15. They might be the ones they put aside at the factory because of a small scratch or have a little to much flex but are brand new real clubs. Or they might just buy in bulk and get them for nothing. Go for it, they would have been shut down years ago if they are fakes. I bought a brand new callaway driver off of ebay for cheap and it will be here in a few days, I hope its not a fake.
