If you're also considering forged irons, I would recommend the victory red irons that are not full cavity back. They will let you become used to the feel of forged irons but also be forgiving because of the cavity.

This year i have had one, on a par 5, a wedge from about 70 yards out...it just rolled right in! Other than that i have not had any previous eagles, lots of birdies though.

I'd try a golf galaxy if one is located near you. They usually have a larger selection of used clubs for reasonable prices..good luck:)
