This is not funny but it happened about 6 hours ago. A young kid who works at our club was playing this afternoon with a few of his buddies. He hit a wedge shot that spun off the green, and in anger he smashed the wedge against the post of the golf cart. The wedge snapped in half and a 6 inch piece of shaft penetrated his abdomen. Luckily my buddy was on call and 3 hours later they saved this kids life. He cut his small intestine in 3 places, punctured his bladder and cut his iliac artery. He was about 10 minutes from death.
