I recently tested the R11s and the RBZ drivers with a number of shafts. I am looking for a shaft that is low launching with low spin for one of these. I currently am swinging a 905r 9.5 with a v2 86x. I like my current driver but the carry distance on the launch monitor is around 280 with 3700rpms of backspin and launch angle between 11 and 14 with a ball speed of 165-170. I hit the RBZ with the stock x ok but the launch was around 18 and backspin around 3500rpm with a ballspeed of 160. I dont get it, I have a steep swing plan because of height. I was thinking about the ahina 70x. Any suggestions? Does Taylormade make a low launching low spin shaft? Thanks for your help!

I was told one time to get that lightest shaft that you could still control to be accurate and long at the same time. My swing speed is about the same as yours and I have always liked the heavier shafts because I am a big guy. Some of the smaller guys I play golf with hit the ball about the same distance with just a regular 65 x flex shaft. I prefer the 75 or 83 gram shaft. Right now I had a fuji that is 75 grams. Good luck in finding the right club. I have a good friend that has that CGB TP driver from Taylormade in 8.5 with a x flex shaft and he loves it. I can hit it pretty good but not as good as some.

Pro V1 or Bridgestone B330. They are both great.

I cant wait to try one. I just wonder if its any better than the rest of them
