  1. The arm swing illusion is a widely popular video on various forums. See video below. In my case, when trying to steepen my plane (or keep my hands higher in the backswing) this video seemed to apply to me. With that said, iacas's advice, on not over-rotating my forearms, seems to help me as well. It actually feels more natural than applying the theory of the arm swing illusion. Something I will have to work when aplpying this is to not keep the club face too closed on the backswing, as under rotating the forearms will do this.
  2. Sorry Billchao, I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or not. Can you elaborate? And yes, I was taking the club too inside to begin with.
  3. After a local pro suggested I steepen my back swing, some youtube and google searches had me stumble upon several "arm swing illusion" videos and forums. I have tried this and have had success with my irons. I then went to chip and putt the ball. These are two aspects of my game that I consider mini-versions of my full swing. I had some success with similar principles, i.e. raising the arms instead of wrapping them around my chest. I just wanted to start a conversation on this aspect of the game (short game) with respect to the arm swing illusion. I couldn't seem to find a forum anywhere else (or any videos for that matter). Putting this way confuses me. It seems to be common knowledge that the putter arc goes inside-middle-inside. Putting while applying the arm swing illusion keeps the putter in inline (at least on the back stroke), similar to a pendulum. Seemed to work great anyway. As for chipping, applying this principle seemed to help a lot. Cheers
  4. Does anyone have experience with this cart? Purchased one at golftown (Canada)....I googled a review and there wasnt much. It seems like the cart is re-branded over in England as the Skymax Cube or the Motocaddy Cube (kind of odd if you ask me). Any input on this would be appreciated. https://www.amazon.ca/Wheel-Black-Trolley-Travel-SkyMax/dp/B01LFL0PR0 https://www.motocaddy.com/uk/cube-push-trolley Thanks.

  6. I think the car is a great place to store a few sweaters and some golf clothes....I enjoy having a few options/backups in my trunk for those spontaneous golf outings. When I'm playing a few times a week I typically keep everything I need in there for all days of play. The most efficient way to play IMO. I saw a few other options such as this: https://amzn.to/2CrGiJo seems like it would fit shoes and a few other things nicely while leaving space for the bag.
  7. Serious question here. My trunk is always full of golf clothes and accessories...I came across a few golf-trunk organizers on amazon but actually feel like they lack space (only room for shoes and some balls). I drive a VW golf so putting my bag in there requires me to take my driver/3w out and placing them on top of my bag. There isnt too much room for a bulky storage unit either. Anyhow just wondering if anyone has come across anything worth sharing! Thanks!
